I am a fellow business owner who came in to make a possible business relationship. These owners treated me completely different than the other customers and were very short with me from the first shared sentences. The only difference between the other customers and myself was, i am not the same skin color as they are. I wanted to possibly make a lasting connection with a small town bakery but was met with shortness and the obvious feeling of unwantedness. Do not shop here if you are POCEdit: I am always polite and friendly. The response to my review is all that needs to be said about their attitude. 10/10 do not recommend.

I ordered a specific type of bun 2 weeks in advance as I was going away, but had company coming, a 5 hour drive for them, when I got back, which would have been too late to order them. I went to pick up my order and .... nothing. They made it for the wrong week! Okay, I get mistakes happen, but to berate me for ordering early, and not just 1 week in advance when either they or their employee obviously didn't read the order date and then to be rude about it.... Nope.... I will never go there again! Unfortunate, because I used to direct a number of committees there for their needs. Now I send them elsewhere. Shame when you try to support local. A slap in the face.

Coming from Vittoria herself, the Good Bread Company in Vittoria Ontario is absolutely divine. Filled with sweet treats that will meet any craving, also offering lunch! I would recommend their mini-baguette which has gherkins pickles and hot peppers (SO YUMMY), don't forget to finish off with something sweet like their frosted cinnamon bun or sugar crusted scones. I cannot wait to go back to try their well known Dill Pickle Bread". The owner Richard is amazing

I was disappointed a couple times because several of the items were sold out. I guess that means the place is good, but you must go there at the early morning hours.

Cinnamon buns are light, fluffy and tender. Plenty of icing; a new kind for me, like whipped cream. Unique and excellent, a must visit.

I always get my bread at Good Bread Company. It's an hour's drive for me but well worth it for the delicious, top quality artisan bread. But...the day I visited I was enticed by the Plum Dumplings near the checkout. I couldn't resist and bought one. It was a beautiful golden colour with diamond sparkles of sugar on the flaky crust. The flavour did not disappoint. It was just the right blend of tart and sweet and melt in your mouth crust. I ate it in the parking lot. Mmm. I think I may have to go back for more.

Breads and buns are out of this world. Order ahead to avoid disappointment because they sell out fast. Subscribe to their weekly email to get daily menus. Favourites are the pecan tarts, blueberry hand pies, blue cheese dark rye, pickle buns, croissants and crusty farmers loaf. They also have a lovely selection of local goodies like cheese, honey and jams. Not cheap but worth every penny.

AMAZING. I’ve been going here for probably 10+ years now when visiting my dad, and they always have such consistently great baked goods. THE CASHEW COOKIES are the best cookies you will ever eat, their cinnamon buns are amazing, all of their loaves are to die for. Those cashew cookies are something else though!!!
