Lancaster Park Outdoor Resort

Stayed here for a weekend in July 2022 with my family of 5 and our fifth wheel. We booked about three days in advance after finding the site on the internet. Our first issue was we were told they only accepted weekly bookings even though their website indicated a two day booking was possible. Luckily after a callback we were able to secure a site. Upon check-in we were greeted by an employee at the gate who provided us our documents and free bag of wood with kindling and fire starters. The road to the site was a little tight but we managed to squeeze our rig through. Note these sites do not have sewer hookup but we did have 50 AMP and Water. As soon as we had setup we took a short bike ride to the beach. What a gorgeous beach! It is clear they have a great community at this park.The only real complaint I have about this site was the noise from the trains which seemed to go all night. The tracks are about a half kilometer away and the horn registered 68dB when sitting outside. I had thought the highway would have been louder but it really wasn't noticeable. I'm glad we got to experience this resort.

Great beach, food (incl a good selection of ice cream) and Tiki Bar. The visitors policy is the only issue.

One assumes that having resort" in the name would mean a classy site. This is nothing than a trailer park that has no permanent sewer hookups. Most sites have a sewage collector tank that is pumped once a week (Thursdays) by a guy pulling a honey wagon and an additional pumping (Mondays) was possible for a fee and had to be reserved ahead of time. So

Pretty gross that they can't even provide any washrooms for the guests. Especially gross that there are no washrooms down near beach. There is one portable toilet but it never had toilet paper and was for bar patrons only. Not too fun swimming in piss water.

The beach is absolutely beautiful and safe for young kids. You get to relax and enjoy nature, beautiful landscaping and if you choose, have a drink at Tiki bar. Play a game of volleyball or hope on your paddleboard and enjoy the sun and waves. The committee is absolutely amazing and always delightful. Keeps everyone entertained. The staff is always helpful, even during covid. I would highly recommend giving Lancaster park outdoor resort a try. We have been a seasonal campers for 8 years and wouldn't change it for anything!

Lovely camping space. It came with a fire place and a table. There were trails to walk on, a great beach with live music and a bar to hang out at. The beach had a volleyball court, some lovely water slides and activities, and friendly staff. There is security til 5am in case you're in need of assistance, doggy bags along the main road for walks or small pick ups at the site.The only downside to this lovely place is the beach only goes up to your waist at most, but considering there is no life guard on site that makes sense. Had lots of fun all the same!

Place is clean and very nice. camp spaces are perfect. Only issue is that it is not really an accommodating space for handicap people when visiting. was refused entry with vehicle when arrangements could have easily been made for car not to remain on lot on arrival. when conversation was done at reception I was asked what do you want me to do?!! We managed and figured it out (had people wait for us while we got our car from the campsite to pick up people at the entrance). On a better note the restaurant is awsome, beach is amazing. just stating facts and true reviews..

First time here. Have told Mike for last 4 years I was coming. Thanks to covid and the ridiculous reservation system for Provincial Parks, We decided to ditch the Provincial sysyten in favour of a private park. Lancaster Park Outdoor Resort was the perfect choice! Very impressed with the size of the sites we chose 193 & 206! Enjoying our stay very much! Mike, Joy and Mike's sister Shannon have been wonderful hosts!!
