My package arrived in Fredericton NB on the 30 Jan, it is now the 20 Feb – 20 days later and it still has not been delivered. I sent two parcels with Canada Post on the 6 February, one to Calgary and one to Kingston, they arrived on 13 February.It took 7 days. I have informed the vender that shipped my package not to use Canpar Express as a shipping company. I have never seen a more pathetic parcel delivery service in my life.

This company is disgusting. I have been on hold twice for 20 minutes at a time. I was sent something and I was not available due to a medical emergency. I had proof of being in the hospital. They did not believe me and they would not allow me to have my parcel reshipped. They would not allow me to speak to a supervisor. The first person the phone hung up on me and the second person did not want to get their friend in trouble--so they kept putting me off. I asked to speak to a supervisor several times. This is a time when people need to help customers and these guys are horrible. They should not be used in any way shape or form.An update to this review. After 3 weeks these people decide to return my package to the shipper. And they decide to call me to tell me about it rather than offering a rectification for me being in the hospital and not getting my package to begin with. I've been emailing their customer service for 3 weeks. This company does not care about people. Everyone needs to stop using them

I was shocked to find out today that Canpar in no way guarantees that packages delivered with them will reach their intended destination. I'd shipped a package within Ontario and somehow tracking showed it had been sent out all the way to BC. When I followed up about potential reimbursement for delivery costs (I wasn't even asking for reimbursement for the value of the package lost), I was told Canpar does not guarantee any of their deliveries. I probably send about 50-100 packages a month via Canpar. I'm going to have to find another courier since unfortunately, per Canpar themselves, any of those packages could go missing at any time and Canpar would be completely unwilling to help.

Literally the worst service ever. The delivery person buzzes. I respond in seconds and there already gone. Leaves a slip for pick up. Not even the post office near me. They had no intentions of me responding to the buzzer. They buzzed so they can say they tried. I called and complained. Explained to their head office I work from home and they made zero attempt to actually deliver, I was available and could be down stairs in a minute. Head office said they would deliver again the next day, and didn't even seem surprised at all. Because they know, their delivery people do this all the time, from what I read in the reviews. Next day the delivery person did the exact same thing. I know they won't fix anything. Look at all these horrible reviews and nothings been done then, so why would anything be done now. Customer service and delivery is a joke, will never use this company again. Shameful.

I can't give lower than a 1 star.Waited for my package for multiple days, and every single day it indicates out for delivery but never shown up. And when I called the customer service, the reason given was driver behind the schedule

Where do I begin?Horrendous. Received an email notification for when package would arrive. Waited 1.5 DAYS hovering in the dining room so that I might be z as blue to head the exterior door.Called ‘customer service,’ was told it would be delivered for Tuesday.They instead tried to ‘deliver’ on Monday, when I wasn’t home.They only do 1 delivery attempt, was in tears.Am beyond livid.Now we must go without knowing whether our package will actually be accessible.How do they stay in business?If I could give zero stars I would.EDIT: Called customer service Tuesday pretty upset- obviously treated the CSR well, it isn’t her fault- explained I had said I wouldn’t be home the Monday and they tried to deliver them despite me telling customer service I wouldn’t be home on the Friday.Was very concerned that it would get ‘lost’ in the warehouse, ( after reading other reviews).She assured me that it was in transit with the driver and it would be delivered….So they DO two delivery attempts- the slip stated one.It FINALLY came mid afternoon!Customer service gets 5 stars, excellent customer service.The driver was very, very nice and when I apologized saying I have bad arthritis, asked if it might be possible for him to help me bring it up the stairs.He readily agreed and kindly helped me to my door, ( the package weight about 48 pounds).It came in good condition with no damage.

I have to say, I am increasingly becoming frustrated and disappointed by the lack of communication, the new tracking inquiry chat program, the lack of follow up by the customer reps in this new system; I have been a Canpar customer for over 13 years, and for the first time I feel like I should be switching couriers. Spending a considerable amount of time chasing after lost shipments with zero response time. As a warehouse manager for over 30 years, I sure would like to see someone from Canpar respond to this post, or contact myself directly.

Worst customer experience ever. Truly awful experience. They attempted to deliver twice, we weren't home. I called to see what our options were, got a useless virtual chat bot followed an even worse live agent. Spent 45 minutes on the phone and absolutely no further ahead. Finally got an actual call from a person at the Barrie depot to tell us to come collect the parcel. Got there, no signage for pick up point or office, called the local number, out of service, had my husband send the number that called us, still had to go through seven levels of pain to get a person who now tells me that the depot is closed!!! We were told open from 7 to 7! Utterly useless. Run far, run fast to UPS or FedEx if you value customer service and your time.

A delivery from a third party was scheduled for yesterday, and after waiting most of the morning we needed to run a few errands. Unfortunately, this was the time that Canpar chose to deliver. Unlike every other service that delivers consumer goods, the delivery person did not leave the product at the front door and instead left a notice telling us where we could pick up the item during the weekdays. There is a Canpar pickup centre about 5 minutes from our home that has weekend hours. Instead, the package now sits about half an hour away in a facility that has restricted hours and the email I received offers no option for redelivery or providing my signature to allow delivery in my absence. How do this company stay in business?

This is the first time I had an excellent experience with a customer representative (Mr. Birpartap) who handled and followed up with me for an issue with my shipment. I have more bad experiences than good with Canpar but this time I had to appreciate as I do see an improvement at least with the communication even though my shipment was missorted by Canpar multiple times but Birpartap was actively helping me to sort out and providing me updates. Canpar needs to have employees like him to keep up the good name of the company looking at there past reviews.Best Regards,Harnoor
