I always check here before buying my textbooks from the school. If they have any of my assigned books, they are almost guaranteed the cheapest out of any of the options I have, and I make use of Amazon, the library, university used bookstore, Chapters, etc... While they mainly carry high demand items (so smaller, upper-level classes are usually out of luck), the offer a good resource for students in the area. Staff are also knowledgeable about their product and inventory, and are always helpful.

I bought pretty much all my textbooks here for the college business course. They're very knowledgable about which books you need and will save you a lot of money. They even help you sell your old textbooks

I've always had good experiences here. Ken is business-minded yet fair. Hence why I was surprised to see a large number of one-star reviews -- until I saw that nearly every one-star review was made on the exact same date 6 months ago. Seems to be a coordinated effort from an entitled individual who didn't get the extra special treatment they thought they deserved. Basically, ignore the one-star brigade -- this is a good place to buy/sell textbooks.

I have gotten a few textbooks from here and they do a really good job. He is super knowledgeable about the text books you need and tries hard to keep most books in stock. Even if they don't have used copy they sometimes have a new copy which they don't jack the prices up on so you can save some money! I go there every semester! Very knowledgeable and helpful!

Sold textbooks here - great experience overall and made it super easy. Although I had some that were older editions great to be able to donate them instead of them taking up space. Really knowledgeable about what was current. Would recommend over dealing with the bookstore whether buying or selling.

My fiance ordered a textbook that the school was missing. Ken, the store owner, was super nice and helped her out a lot. She got her books way faster than online stores or even the school. Highly recommended. Go here if you need books.

This is a great store. If your a student in Kelowna you need to come here before every semester. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. Every University town needs a place like this. Thank you.

If you are shopping around for textbooks or wanting to sell your old ones, this place is amazing! They are willing to pay more for textbooks than the college buyback program and the owner donates the older editions. I had some older textbooks I wanted to donate and they were still thorough enough to check if they were worth anything. It's a great small business to support if you can!

I used to use this store for all my textbook needs, as it is generally less expensive than the college......however after phoning and trying to determine what I spent on a textbook i purchased from Ken at Okanagan Textbook Exchange to decide if i should sell it to him or sell it on my own, i will not be back. He asked if i wanted to buy or sell the textbook and after telling him i wanted to know what i paid him for it, he told me that i was just using him to determine the value of the book and hung up the phone. Well Ken, i will not buy any textbooks from you ever again if you are going to be that petty. Its very simple to give me the selling price of the textbook like any other store in Kelowna would and let me make the decision if i want to sell to you or someone else. I will buy all my textbooks online if you are going to be that way.
