The marina is very well kept. The bathrooms are fabulous, the gas dock always has service, and the employees are very helpful. They help you dock your boat, maintane your slips and help you with all your inquiries and problems that may arise. The management and front office are very helpful and understanding. Over all I was very pleased with my first season at the marina and I look forward to many more.

Rented a pontoon boat for the day. Excellent experience from beginning to end. Booking was simple and completed all online. They were quick to respond to my questions through email. Facility is well maintained and we took full advantage of the washrooms and picnic area. Boat was in great condition and had more than enough power to get us where we wanted to go in a timely manner. On top of all that we had a great day fishing as well!

Krates is truly a great marina and environment. All the members are super friendly and welcoming. Staff always on site making sure the place is clean and organized.Management staff is always very accommodating to all requests made and very quick reply time to calls / emails. Very competitive pricing to nearby marinas but a lot more value / amenities here at Krates.If you are looking for a friendly community based marina with supportive staff definitely check out Krates, you won’t be disappointed.

It was nice had fun in the pool but there was a lot of garbage in the marina and there was a lot of staff standing around and did not help when we had asked for a hand.

We are curently keeping our boat at this marina. It offers a variety of slips with plenty of green and deck space. There are covered slips too. The marina is quite secure - You need a pass to enter it. The showers and washrooms are very clean and nice. There are restaurants and stores near buy. Boaters are friendly and there is a community feel to the place (and a few parties). There is also a pool that's closed due to covid and a children's play ground.

Amazing place, this is literally one of my favorite places to be. They have a huge facility that can accommodate boats of all sizes, an RV park and direct access to lake Simcoe. They offer boat launch services and there is a boat/jet ski rental on the property. It's about 40 min from Toronto, but once you get on the property it's like you are in a different world.

I rent a boat once a year for a family day. Had an amazing time. Rented a Princecraft 23. Big, fast, very clean. Price was competitive. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. The grounds were clean and well maintained. It was sweltering hot. Stepped into the washrooms, nicely air conditioned, spotless and looked newly upgraded. If your looking to rent and have a great day. Check this place out.

Great boating experience. I prepaid the gas price 100$ when I did my booking. However, I only used 25$ LOL. They do not refund. Make sure you pay your gas after. BTW, washrooms are close after 6 pm. Other than that it was a nice relaxing day. The staff were so helpful.
