Chartwell Regency Retirement Residence

Samantha Bruno is an Angel. I first met her last year but unfortunately my parents did not move in due to complications with my dad's health. Samantha is like family. She continued to stay in touch with me through everything my parents and I were going through. My dad passed away in November 2022. My mom is moving into Chartwell today. Samantha goes above and beyond to make sure the move goes smoothly. I will say that Chartwell has a wonderful staff but again Samantha is the best. Thank you Samantha from the bottom of my heart for everything. Even calling me on your days off!UPDATE - mom moved in and she is so happy. Everyone welcomed her. Love to see her smile again.

I can’t say enough about Ms. Samantha Bruno and her team here at Chartwell Regency. From the moment I met Samantha, I knew my 82 y/o mum would be in good hands. Her professionalism and her sensitivity toward this new transmission, not only for my mum, but for my brothers and myself is stellar. Samantha and her team at Chartwell Regency made the whole family welcome and my mum settled in so quickly. I really appreciate how cared for this site makes their patrons feel. There are always people around, it is a busy, clean, happy environment and I am confident my mum will do well here. Thank you Samantha, thank you Ariel, thank you all for helping us easily transition to a new and beautiful normal.

I am glad to share my amazing experience with Chartwell @Regency. Back in September 2022, I started here as a Placement Student working with the residents. The staff is extremely welcoming, the residents create a productive environment for newcomers to grow. Huge shout-out to General Manager Robert, Sales Activity Manager Samantha, and Lifestyle and Program Manager Destinie Gagen who helped me complete my placement by providing opportunities to grow in the professional field. As of now, I work in the dietary with Kitchen Manager Agnes Sitko, and can't wait to grow in this extremely productive family.

I am a writer of historical fiction novels and recently presented my books to several residents of Chartwell Regency. Destinie was remarkable to work with, as were many of the residents I met. Their genuine friendliness and courtesies I was shown exceeded my expectations and spoke volumes to me about the respect and thoughtfulness The Regency staff has provided to those in their care. I hope they invite me back again soon.

I truly do not have the words to describe the feeling other than “ really grateful”My parents started residing at chartwell almost a month ago and it has been an amazing experience for me as a their primary caregiver. I see the difference already. My mom who is not easy to please now keeps singing praises of everyone especially Destiny. All the staff is super efficient , friendly and caring. Destiny , Samantha, Andrew and Robert are super helping and my new superheroes.The kitchen staff , the front desk staff , the house keeping staff all are there to truly support and help.My parents are of south asian heritage and they love the inclusive ness there.Can’t thank everyone at chartwell enough for all the support in making them feel at home in such a short time.Thank you all!

For the past six months the family had been trying to convince my father that he was unsafe in his home and needed to move to a more suitable and safe environment. He was having no part of it and would not consider moving from his home. Samatha was incredibly patient and understanding. Every month we would check in to see if there was availability, hoping he would finally say 'yes'. And then it happened- decision made, but it had to happen by the end of the week! Samantha was able to facilitate the gathering of the medical documents, the clearing of the show room furniture and accommodate our move, all in 4 days! And my father- loves his room, LOVES the food, is making friends and adapting well. Thank you, Samantha, for helping us through this considerable transition, by giving us all the support we needed throughout the process.

A big thank you to Samantha Bruno and the care team at Chartwell Regency in Port Credit. They continue to make my father-in-law happy, cared-for, very content, fed well and safe. Samantha’s approach is warm, genuine, kind and she is definitely one of the main reasons we promote the home broadly to our family & friends as we witness my husbands father flourish, smile more and get back to his charming and entertaining ways in this lovely, lively place we all proudly call his home.

Every time I visit Chartwell Regency, I feel such warmth and welcoming. The staff are always so friendly and Samantha Bruno is so bubbly and personable. The residents all love it there! During my most recent visit, one of the residents even told me that moving to Chartwell Regency has been one of the best things he has ever done and that everyone there is truly family. It is always such a pleasure visiting Chartwell Regency and seeing so many smiling faces!

I can't say enough about the management team at Chartwell Regency. They go above and beyond to ensure their residents are having the best experience living in their community. There is always something going on and their residents are engaged and happy..

My mom has an apartment at Chartwell Regency. My family appreciates Samantha, Andrew, Robert, Destinie, all PSW’s, reception, the Doctor, hospitality and all of the amazing other staff.
