I have gone to many tanning salons in the area and I have to say that California Waves is by far the best one I have ever gone to. The beds are top of the line, there are great package deals and the customer service is incredible. Every-time I have gone it has been spotless and I have gotten amazing long lasting tans. They have deals where you can get lotions on sale when purchasing a package and staff is always incredible. They also have the KBL 7900 Alpha tanning bed which is one of very few in the country (it gives u a great tan and also has luxury features like a cooling mist and bluetooth so you can enjoy your own music while tanning). I would definitely give them a try if you’re looking for an amazing tanning experience!

I’ve been coming to this salon for over 25 years. The service has always been great and the staff always goes above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. Best selection of lotions and beds…. Bulbs are always new, salon is always clean! Best place in the GTA!!!!

Honestly not enough good things I can say about this place! Literally went from seeing tanning as a torture to looking forward to it when getting ready for my wedding. I was treated like a VIP from day 1 and looked after so well, that my super fair skin never burnt and i felt nothing but glow on my face and skin. Highly highly recommend. Can not stress this enough, this is THE tanning salon to go to! Newest obsession

This has always been my go to place for tanning! I've been coming to CW for over 10 years (previous location and new one). Even when I moved downtown, I tried to look for another tanning place a little closer but none could compare in service level and cleanliness. I also love how they have premium beds like the Matrix and the KBL (sprays a refreshing mist while you tan!) They have packages that make tanning so easy and affordable. Even when I was new to tanning, the staff took the time to explain everything to me and recommended something just for me to ensure I had a great experience and didn't burn. I recieved a plan that was specifically tailored to me, my goals and needs which was so helpful to getting me where I wanted to be faster. No other place I've been to has ever offered me this. They also sell the best lotions, even at a discounted rate with a package. Everyone that tans or is thinking about tanning should come here!

Formerly known as California Waves…this salon has been the best tanning salon in Richmond Hill for years. I have been going to this salon for years. They have the best beds & are constantly keeping updated with the best tanning products. I recommend the 650 Bed or Matrix standup if you’re looking for a bronze summer tan or to seal in a tan after vacation. Their packages make coming back easy and affordable!

The tanning beds are always cleaned and the clerk is very knowledgeable with answering all your questions on what is best gif tanning for you. Great services

I’ve been tanning for 8+ years and this is the best tanning salon I’ve been to. Their beds are great. At other salons i would have to tan 3-4 sessions just to get the result of 1 session at CW Tan. The staff is so friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend.
