Golden One Fried Chicken

Fried chicken is crispy and nice but hot and spicy sauce has zero spice and extremely sweet, however, has a decent taste. Their original fried chicken is probably under-seasoned. No typical complementary sides like pickled radish but they provide a soft drink. They have a lunch special with fried chicken and fries. Very convenient location. Prices and portion sizes are on par with other Korean fried chicken locations. Staff are friendly and service is good.

The spicey chicken is fantastic! I have yet to try the mustard chicken, but one of my friends loves it. The guys who work there are super nice too, glad they seem to be doing well!

Super crispy and juicy fried chicken. My order was made fresh on the spot and I left with piping hot chicken straight from the fryer, with a side of fries.I couldn't help but give in to a bite or two after leaving, eating that juicy chicken while walking. This might be my new chicken spot in this part of the neighborhood.

Usually do a takeout of Hot and Spicy Fried Chicken. Honestly the best ever fried chicken I have ever eaten! Never disappoints. Can't get enough of it! Regular here for life!

The food here is amazing. The best fried chicken in town. The only downside is the place is very unclean. The walls are full of oil and dirt, and floors are not cleaned.

Golden One Fried Chicken was my big discovery this week. Well prepared and not over-seasoned, the fried chicken was perfect!! The portion size was fair for the price and, important for me, all of the packaging was recyclable and sustainable. Great job and it will become one of my regular spots for sure.

Ordered on UberEats and got their Gyoza, boneless chicken with hot & spicy sauce, and rice cakes.The gyoza was crispy, but the filling was underwhelming. There was no dip for them either which I found unusual.Rice cakes had a good flavour but the texture was a little inconsistent, some were really tough and some were tender.The chicken had great flavour, the sauce was delicious, and it was tender and juicy. But I found it not as crispy as I'd like. The odd bite was perfectly crispy, and if the whole thing was like that, I'd give them a 5/5. But those perfect bites were few and far between. Maybe it lost some of the crunch in transit or something. I'd be willing to give them another shot though, overall it was quite good.

Light and thinly coated fried chicken.Large size is always a whole chicken.However, I never can have green onion option despite being on the menu as it is never available nor in stock.But I simply love the thinly crusted and light flakes of fried chicken from here. None of those greasy oil fried lumps like most pubs and KFC.We had original and cheese. Cheese was a bit too heavy ….. original wins the days again at the end of the day!!!As for indoor dining, they only have barrel top tables and a few stools. So perhaps take out would be a better option cause it has neither ambiance nor comfort !!!Yet, I will be back again to eat more fried chicken!!!!

Two of us ordered full chicken (two flavour combination) + French fries = 52 after tax. Plenty of food for us, that we didn’t finish and packed some up for laterThis restaurant is take out / delivery focused dinning experience though there are a couple of tables on the side you can sit and eat there. We really like to eat fried food fresh, so we stayed for our meal. But if it’s other type of dishes, I would take and eat home. For the dinning experience, the services included a plate and a pair of gloves. But next time, I will try to remember to bring my own utensils (I don’t like the gloves for its messiness and enviro reasons :)Chicken is very crispy and nice! Bought the Golden Mustard Chicken with a Golden French Fries box & Ginger Ale for about $38This food smells incredibleGreat portion size for the chicken and fries - came with 12-14 variety pieces (boneless & boned)I was feeling full after about 6 & still have 4 pieces left for laterJust really wished the chicken was a bit more seasoned & crunchy.Also wished there was a bit more sauce on the chicken pieces, but that wasn't a huge dealFries tasted good, but surprisingly didn't taste the garlic in there despite there being garlic all over them - they mainly just tasted like salty fries (tasted decent though)Maybe adding some Cajun spices could help bring them a bit more life.Chicken 7/10Fries 6/10Whole Meal 7.5/10
