I visited this pawn shop because they have a machine that resurfaces and polishes cd, dvd, and blue ray surfaces so you can play them again. The staff were really friendly. I took two movie discs to be worked on, which they put into the machine. After I got home, I found that one disc worked properly again. However, the second disc still had issues and wouldn't play. Bottom line...if you have a scratched disc, just go online and order another one. Don't waste your money trying to repair it. As far as the store and staff go, they are great and I would buy from here.

Bought a mandolin from Island Collateral & Sales today that was excellently priced, and in beautiful condition. Their customer service was fantastic, and all three sales associates went above and beyond to ensure that we left satisfied. went in there looking to trade my camera (still in the box, used once) for a different model, i was interested in one going for $400 online, brand new, but at their store it was priced for $399 and with some minimal damage, so when I offered mine which was worth $300 new the guy told me he would give me $75 for it? how is that fair at all? you are telling me that the camera they have in store with visible damaged and no box is worth its full retail price but mine which was still in the box and only used once is worth 4 times less? i know its a pawn shop but this guys are taking too far, more so like a robbery shop.

I have been shopping there for quite some time and I am a very happy customer.Contrary to other negative reviews I always had the best experience.I shop there mainly for camera lenses, and some other electronics. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been dealing with Richard who has been a great help with his Camera, lens and photography knowledge. Try getting help at the other so called “fotography specialty stores” they won’t even talk to you unless you are a serious buyer.Every time I visited Island Collateral Sales I felt comfortable asking questions, trying different items. I never once felt pressured or rushed to make a decision.And let’s talk about prices; I think they are asking reasonable prices and there is always room to negotiate. What else can you ask for ?Thank you Richard, and thanks to other staff that they helped me over the phone with great manners.Cheers,H.

An incredibly lovely group of people working here! They were hilarious, attentive and professional when I purchased an instrument from them earlier today. The price was cheaper than anywhere I could find online, and it was in perfect condition. They even went out of their way to find a lovely box for me too! Will be returning as I felt very cared for as a customer!

will they low ball you? well ya its a pawn shop part of the fun is to go back a forth.I have had lots of interactions with them now usually trying to get credit in store. They have a great selection of firearms and the staff are very knowledgeable about them all. Iv enjoyed every gun iv purchased here and have never felt insulted by an offer they have made they need to make money too . Very happy with them and would recommend if your looking for used firearms

Wanted to buy something expensive but hard to find and was told to visit them as they have it. Clerk was talking to a man offering him money at the door, saw me standing in front of him, I asked are you closed sir ? 5:55pm, heard me, intentionally ignored me, took the man in and lock the door literally in my face without saying anything. It’s so impossibly rude and unprofessional that it’s laughable. Not a regular client of pawn shops so maybe that’s how they are but that’s a good way to keep the quality of your customers low.
