Walking into a record store has always been an experience for me. See, I love music and record stores have always had a special place in my heart. Black Byrd is the embodiment of this nostalgia for me. The guys there are incredibly knowledgeable and it was like meeting up with old friends. Myoozik is my medium of choice and in Calgary, BlackByrd is where I get my fix.Thanks guys !!!

The most cleanly organized music shop I've ever seen with a wide variety of music as well as more of the less popular artists in stock too. Happy to order you a custom record too. Browsing is easy. Highly recommend!

This place has been my treasure trove for a year and half now. I've made countless trips across the city to come here just because of their great new + used selection and their great exceptional customer service. Shout-out to Troy, Michael, and Tom, you guys are amazing.

This is a fantastic record store! It is so bright, open, well laid out and a great selection of a variety of music. I love that there is a staff pick" section to introduce you to some new music - that and the staff was friendly & helpful. I will be back for sure!"

As someone who currently does not live in Calgary, this is always my first stop in town. I absolutely love their selection, and the used section is always full of the best surprises! The staff have been friendly, knowledgeable, and have been gracious in holding records for me for extended periods until I can come back in to town

Great selection of Vinyl. Excellent customer service. Needed a limited edition Vinyl for a birthday present so I emailed them and they got back to me right away, had the item in stock and held it for me. Reasonable pricing. Cheers!
