Strands Studio

Strands studio is the only place I will let touch my hair. The staff is pleasant and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to their craft. I have extremely dark hair and have been slowly lightening it over the past little while. Heather always makes sure I'm aware of what she is doing and what products she's is using on my hair, which keeps my hair happy and healthy. Best service ive ever received in a hair salon. I always leave feeling my best!

I went to see Brooke yesterday and it was an amazing experience. I’ve never dyed my hair before and Brooke made the process so easy and comfortable! She had all the best advice for what route I should take for colouring my hair for the first time, and she did an absolute amazing job! I haven’t loved my hair like this in a very long time. Today was my first time at strands studio and I can't wait to go back. My stylist Hannah was fantastic and my hair looked and felt so good after she was done. Such a clean, friendly and welcoming environment.

We got mine and my sister's hair done for her wedding. The staff were very friendly and gave beautiful and comfortable updos, taking into account our hair types. We both got lots of compliments that evening!

Been going to this salon for years now! Heather and her team are always so welcoming. During Covid-19, I’ve always felt so safe with the extra steps they have been taking. I leave feeling happy with my results and always get some good hair care suggestions.Worth checking out their Paul Mitchell Tea tree hair care line and coloured dry shampoo- it has saved my hair!

Heather is amazing! I have been going to her for years and couldn’t imagine any one else touching my hair. Also have been using Emily for my lashes for over a year and she does a great job!The ladies in there have phenomenal customer service. Such a great atmosphere and environment.

As soon as I knew the date of my wedding I booked Heather and Emily right away. Knowing that I wanted something bold and colorful for myself, and styles equaling majestic for my wedding party. The whole Studio was super patient with me having multiple conversations about colours for the hair extensions. I am not going to lie. I was a pain with my inability to actually commit to how much and of what but they were all so patient with me. Heather even called me to walk through it countless times. We made sure to book a dye day the week of the wedding, that I even after countless texts and phone reminders, got the time wrong. The whole salon banded together to get me out in time. I was so grateful. Day of the wedding, Heather and Emily traveled all the way to Etobicoke to do our hair. They got me and my 3 bridesmaids done in what felt like no time at all. Making us all look like Viking warriors with long braided hairstyles that were unique but similar enough to make us look like a pose not to be messed with. My hair before extensions was around my chin, so for the “First Look” photos my partner was truly surprised. After extensions I had long multi coloured braids, that surprise to us both matched his suit. I couldn’t have been happier with how everything all worked out, and I will continue to make the track out to Orono for all my hair needs.Thank you so muchTaylor L

I went this week for the first time,this was also my first hair cut in years. The ladies are so warm and welcoming! The shop is so pretty with lots of great products and accessories to choose from.Brooke was my stylist and she did a refreshing and perfect job, it turned out exactly how I wanted it. Brooke washed, cut, dried and styled my hair, she was really fast, very personable and the price was very reasonable. I already have my next visit booked!
