Fantastic gym. It has a great mix of skill, age, size, and experience that is hard to find in other gyms. Very safe optional sparring.

Our son has been attending Arashido Sherwood Park for almost 2 years. It's a great environment that teaches him to work hard and respect others. The facility is well maintained and nice and clean. The instructors are top notch and great with the kids. They also rent out the dojo for birthday parties - Kru Derek went out of his way to make sure the boys had a BLAST!

What a place! The facility is the best in the Edmonton area for sure. Huge training areas, with a viewing area/lounge. The place is always clean. The owner and instructors are dedicated to martial arts. They are professional, composed and come to classes with plans and goals. They treat the students with respect and have high expectations for them. It is clear that this is a life for Ryan, Derek and Mike, and their love shows. The children's classes build strong character and encourage growth. Many of the new and supply instructors are from the dojo and it is obvious that the lessons taught ha email stayed with them. This is a big place, lots of students, but classes feel small. The personal attention is fantastic. Many students train in all forms there. This shows that they are doing good things.I can't say enough good things. Arashi Do trains martial arts. They do it well and improve people along the way.

This is an unbelievable Martial arts gym, the support you get from peers and the way the classes flow is wonderful as you always seem to get time to improve on the techniques you are learning, integrate new movements into the progressions that you're working on, and bring it all together in open rolls which always seem to be safe yet incredibly challenging as most finish absolutely gassed once the sparring completes.I find a lot of extra time and energy in my day by devoting time to Jiu jitsu which is what I train here currently and I honestly cannot believe that I didn't find this combat sport/language/way of life sooner. There is always something special and unique about each class, I just cannot put to words enough praise. I understand now why the peers who recommended I come here did so as it's just a perfect place for personal growth and physical exercise, I come to each class hungry to learn and train and find myself studying a lot outside of class purely because of how much I enjoy it. It really is a life changing experience to take on a martial art and take it seriously, you learn a tonne about yourself and your confidence and humility grow tremendously.Sensei Ryan runs an amazing class always, and Mark ties it in on the weekend perfectly, I genuinely enjoy every experience more and more as I become more familiar and comfortable with the lessons of the day.Sign up for a trial if you are on the fence, it took me a good 2 months to actually do it and I could never comprehend life without it again.Osssssssssss

When I first started Muay Thai here 2 years ago, I knew it was an unbelievable workout, the instructors were well experienced and knowledgable, and the facility was big and well kept. What I didn't know and realized over time through training and competing, is that you can't get training like this anywhere else. I didn't quite realize how impressive the fighters were until I started hearing all the stories and seeing it for myself! The facility is also WAY bigger than most... No cramped or crowded feeling here. Very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality. It also has a great community aspect to it. Everyone is very supportive of each other.

My son has been attending classes at Arashi Do Sherwood Park for the last two years. He's been doing Muay Thai since September 2014, and added BJJ last fall; he also goes to kids' camps, seminars, and Open Mat every chance he gets - I think he'd live there, if he could! The instructors and equipment are fantastic, but the atmosphere and camaraderie are truly unbelievable; as soon as you go to one class, you're pretty much part of a great big family. And they want you to learn, be happy, and win.If you have any interest in trying a new martial art or furthering your existing skills, I would highly recommend this place - we just love it!

I have been with this school for almost six years now. First class facility, very clean and well maintained with lots of space. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming and open. An expert balance of pushing you to your limits while making sure no one gets hurt. Not just a club, but a family.

A top notch club with a dedicated owner and terrific instructors.Arashi Do Sherwood Park was recommended to me by friends and I'm incredibly grateful. My daughter started muay thai at age 4 and is loving it. The instructors are AMAZING with the little kids & they often involve the older kids as helpers. The kids all get encouraged without being pushed too fast. Safety and proper technique are obviously the priority with this club. The atmosphere of respect and learning is perfect. The facility itself is well maintained and clean.Such a great investment.
