Buttertubs Marsh Park
Beautiful park for observing wildlife, particularly for birdwatching. We have also seen deer, raccoons, squirrels, and beaver. The trail around the marsh is flat so really good for those with mobility issues. It is very family friendly, but do stay on the trail.Bring your camera or binoculars, or relax with a book on one of the many benches. It's a real gem in the middle of the city.

Excellent walk around Marsh, always meet 'lovely locals' on the pathways. Exciting to watch turtles. Love to visit this sacred place.

Be nice walking in the summer/fall months. Very flat and easy, but a little short, with a little over 2 kliks

So beautiful to walk around. Great for strollers, easy walk for kids. 4 lookout platforms to see wildlife from. The sound of all the birds was so relaxing. Two huge turtle nests.

Nice trails, there were a lot of dogs and people on bikes tho, which made it hard to see the birds throughout the park

Amazing park. Great for running or walking. There are a few benches set up around the trail incase you feel like reading. Lots of wildlife, there are many deer especially. If your into running, then it takes me around 2.5 kilometers to do one lap. Usually I enjoy a good run around the marsh, but sometimes people can get a bit rude about it. This one guy started counting my laps during my run and would comment on it everytime I passed him.

Nice place to walk that is dog and bike free. Very peaceful. Takes about 20 to 30 minutes to do the whole loop. Lots of wildlife to look for, birds, beavers, turtles, and more. Flat trail, easy walk for all abilities.

This beautiful setting for a short tranquil walk with or without a friend is lovely. I enjoy the walk and sights each time I go. Sometimes with family from far away.

Buttertubs Marsh Park
Easy little loop walk. If you take your time it's about 30-40 minutes. You can possibly see some wildlife and it is a good spot for birdwatching. Paths are easy to follow and level so it is very accessible for all. There are a few benches and look out points along the path. Parking off the Bowen side can get full so you may have to park up the street when entering from that side. There is a port -a-potty on the Third Street side.

Nice loop with pleasant views of the marsh and wildlife. There are quite a few benches to use and the look out spots are also nice. Trail is easy to walk and is well maintained.
