Great school and staff, wonderful support system for all grades

My son has attended since Grade 7. That first year was online teaching. Then 8 and 9 are back in class. Homeschooling can be a greet benefit when it fits your needs but I must add,if your child is attending W.H.S our experience thus far has been great . I'm grateful for the allowance for him to homeschool when we where in the beginning of the pandemic. But since the school renovated alot of there spaces they have an awesome auditorium, music room, art class, science & biology and consumer science (bravo for this class)I took home ec. In high-school then I never heard of that kind of class again until my youngest child who's now in W.M.H and this is on of his courses this year.I was very pleased,I already at home teach my children real life skills but the continued education in this area along with the parents participation will teach our kids alot of very important life skills that they will take with them in life.( this class is tike my home ec. Class on steriods) they learn to make a personal budget , cooking, opening bank accounts, camping skills etc..)Sorry for the long post ,needed to say it all.Have a great day!Sophia

Teachers and staffs are amazingly friendly and helpful for students who are willing to learn. As an international student, I had difficulties with language in the first year. However, my language was improved in a short time because of the greatest teachers in this school. The only issue is the rudeness of two ladies in the office.

This is a free secondary school that is open to any student whose parents attended an anglophone school in Quebec. There are laws that prevent students from attending irrespective of linguistic origin. Unfortunately, there is a law that prevents staff and faculty from celebrating their religious and cultural diversity. The wearing of nikabs, kippas, turbans, and hijabs are all currently banned for government employees.Education in Quebec is meritocratic, which is a good thing. Educators should be chosen based on what is in their heads - not on their heads.

A great school. Teachers are engaged and intelligent. Staff is very helpful and nice. A great all-round school.

Absolutely Terrible School

It is a beautiful high school, students are positive, most of the teachers are kind and respectful.
