RK mobile small engine repair

I dropped off my lawnmower, which I admit we haven't taken proper care of, to get needed work done. My mower was fixed quickly and now works like a new machine.

I am completely pleased with the customer service I received from Rafael. He promptly returned my call and fitted me into his schedule quickly. He came to look at my snowblower and after looking it over told me a number of things that were wrong and the approximate cost to repair. He explained that he could fix it but other things could be found wrong as it is very old. I liked his totally honest approach and in the end I told him not to fix it. I did go and look at some other used snowblowers and found one I liked. However, he found something that was not working to his liking and said in good conscience could not sell it to me. Rarely do you find such an honest person in the business world. I could tell Rafael was a very experienced mechanic and I would not hesitate to call him in the future for work to be done.

I had them troubleshoot my snowblower and found them to be very professional and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with every aspect of the transaction from pick up to drop off of snowblower. I definitely recommend them for anything that involves repair of small engine machinery. As they say in the military, BRAVO ZULU!

As a small business owner Rafael understands how important customer service is. I had my lawnmower and snow blower serviced by him this past week and the price he quoted me on pickup is what I paid when he returned them to me even though he had to do more to get them running perfectly again. I will definitely refer him to all my neighbors and friends.

My 12 year old snow blower started spewing gas out of the engine block late last winter, so I turned it off and just put it away. Later this summer I searched the internet for a repair shop, and based on the number of very positive reviews, I gave RK mobile small engine repair a phone call.Rafael and his colleague picked up my snow blower on Sat. They explained to me what the various problems were (for one, the engine itself was seized), and quoted me a really fair price if I wanted to go ahead and have it repaired. He even offered me 10% discount for senior.Rafael phoned me back on Sunday to let me know that he was able to unseize the engine, that the snowblower was fixable, and that he would be able to restore the machine to good working order.Rafael stuck to the price that he had originally quoted me. He even did extra work, about one hour, at no additional charge, to swap switches (one worked, one did not - switches are extremely expensive) and cleverly remove the motor of the snow discharge chute, and create a mechanism where I could adjust its height manually.When they returned the snow blower on Tues, they explained what the problems were, how they fixed them, and provided good advice on how to best run the machine, shut it down, and properly empty the gas tank at the end of next winter.I think if I had called anywhere else I would have had to pack it in, but instead Rafael returned my 12 year old snow blower to me as a really nice re-conditioned snow-blower.Rafael and his colleague are totally honest, super friendly, experienced, clever and efficient.I highly recommend Rafael, and I would not hesitate to call him in the future for work to be done.Thanks a lot/**************************/----- another Review for another Good ServiceMy wife and I have an old 21inch gas lawn mower. It reliably cuts through almost anything. We use it on a fairly large yard in the country but have not really taken care of it for the past 8 or 9 years, other that to put gas in it, cut the grass, and once a year, in the fall, mulch all the leaves.A couple of weeks ago I phoned RK mobile small engine repair and asked if they could do a tune-up. Rafael quoted me a fair price, said the tune-up should take about 20-25 minutes, and we could wait for it. I also mentioned that I had lost our gas cap, and I was having a really hard time to find one that fit.We brought the mower over and Rafael worked on it immediately. It took him about one hour. He also gave us a gas cap that fitted at no charge.Rafael stuck to the price that he had originally quoted. The fact that he let us watch him work was really nice of him, because he showed us things to help us take better take care of the lawn mower.Rafael is totally honest, super friendly, experienced, clever and efficient.I highly recommend Rafael, and I would not hesitate to call him in the future for work to be done.Thanks a lot

Second time in the past 5 years I’ve gummed my snowblower up and RK pulled me out of a mess with a super quick turnaround! They are friendly and reasonably priced and reliable. Can’t asked for anything more…

My 8 year old snowblower started running extremely roughly on the last several snowfalls getting worse to the point of stalling under load. Instead of playing with it myself again in the cold I decided to have RK service it for this current issue and do a proper tune up and care session on it.Rafael took my phone call and scheduled me in for a pickup (COVID lock down times). He was on time and very informative. He took it away and worked on it and discovered a bad carb. The carb was replaced after a follow-up phone call from him and he did his incredibly thorough tune up on it and scheduled to bring it back. It hasn't run that well since new. He spent quite a bit of time after drop off talking about it and giving me recommendations to keep it running for years to come.I am extremely satisfied with his service and the very fair prices he offers. I feel he's very honest and fair and I'm quite comfortable with him working on my equipment. He will see that snowblower again in time for another tune up package and definitely my lawn mower in the spring for a tune up!All we need now is for Rafael to accept Interac e-Tranfers. ;-) (but it's still worth it anyway!)

I’m completely satisfied with the work done by RK Engine Repair. They picked up my snowblower and quoted me a price on the spot after looking over my machine. He promptly took the machine and returned it 3 days later. It’s now running as good as new and I can’t wait for the next snow dump to test it out. I would definitely recommend these guys.

Found RK Mobile Small Engine repair online. After reading the reviews and checking out his website I felt this was the place to go. Raphael was great to deal with, he fixed my snowblower and gave it a tuneup. The price was reasonable and he had it fixed in one day. Raphael also gives you pointers of how to treat your machine so the problems don’t happen again.Definitely will be going to RK again with any of my small engine tuneups and repairs.Dave
