Lovely place to dine on a Friday evening. Service was wonderful though as a visitor to Newfoundland I have found the service all over to be so refreshing just makes you feel at home. I had the 2 piece fish with beet salad and it was the perfect serving size. The beet salad was amazing. My partner had the pan fried cod as he is gluten free and he loved it. His mom had 1 piece fish and chips also enjoyed. We noticed someone having onion rings at another table. Biggest onion rings we’ve ever seen! Will definitely be back on our next trip to Newfoundland!

Cheery reception and seated promptly. Service was timely with a warm atmosphere. The barley soup was excellent. The breading on the fish and chips was a bit soggy and the portion could have been more generous for the price. However the blueberry crisp was excellent. Overall experience was very good. Definitely worth another visit to try some other varieties from their menu.

I have never eaten there but would love to do so. However, need a gluten-free menu item. Not asking for too much.....just an entree or two to choose from. Even french fries can be made gluten-free if you don't deep fry them in the same oil with battered food. This restaurant does not indicate any gluten-free items so I can only assume it does not want to cater to gluten-free customers. So, I pass on doing business here.

Fish tacos are to die for and the onion soup was delicious. the blueberry crisp was excellent. The pan-fried cod was wonderful. The onion rings are massive and can serve four people.

awesome place to eat, extremely cozy & friendly staff. The food was totally amazing!!!! The portions were unbelievable and well worth the value of the meal. There isn't enough stars to recommend this restaurant

Good service and good food. Amazing fish taco and fish and chips. The blueberries crisp was outstanding - this photo was part way through consumption - later photos would represent teaspoon combat between four people who had forgot they are adults and could order another one.. yes it was that good

The food here is excellent! Blueberry crisp was so good. Service was also great! The laid back and rather quiet atmosphere was refreshing. Perfect spot for a bite to eat on a Sunday!This spot is the perfect example of what NL dining and culture stands for - a warm, unpretentious place with good food. I think other restaurants should take note!We will be back.

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner here, before checking out the quaint village of Brigus. Parking was easy, right across the street. Service was very quick, and very friendly.I had the pan fried cod with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was the best cod I had during my entire vacation in Newfoundland. I can highly recommend it.

Grabbed lunch during our tour in Brigus.Ordered: Cuban sandwich & fish and chips, food & fries were freshly made but we were disappointed with the taste. Took around 30-40mins to serve lunch I assume because place was busy (wouldn’t recommend) those items. Service was excellent but food was bland therefore a rating of 3.As for their famous blueberry crisp! That was a 5/5 flavorful and juicy for those with a sweet tooth! No

Warm and laid back atmosphere, trendy decor, and great food! Would definitely dine here again if I had longer in the Brigus area. The beet salad was delicious, but not a meal size unless you add some meat or a side dish. Fish and chips was a hit amongst our group. Fish tacos and grilled cod also looked good.
