Elite Taxidermy

Asked Marcel to do a shoulder mount for my antelope. It’s been 3 years. I’m out 400 dollars and he won’t give me back my antelope. Pretty sure it’s gone. Filing a police report for stolen property. Will update once the police talk to him. Complete con artist. Nice to your face but a snake in the grass. Highly recommend to stay away from Marcel.

I understand taxidermy takes time but we were told 2 months. After hounding him over and over and getting different stories with different prices each phone call, we finally got the elk back after 6 months. Quality is lacking on this euro mount. Definitely will never take anything back, neither will anyone I know!

Great guy with fast turn around times. Had a set of moose antlers mounted on a barnboard plaque and it turned out great. The antlers were a bit bleached from sitting outside before he got them so I had him add a bit of color and they look exactly like did they day I got the moose. Definitely recommend elite to anyone needing taxidermy work done

Had to pay upfront to get my bear tanned, he had loads of time to get it tanned, told him I wanted my bear back and charged me $350 for taking up freezer room. Always ignored my calls, he's a scam artist!

Took my daughter's first fish there last summer. It looks like it was ran over by a steam roller. I have yet to hang it on the wall because it looks that bad. I'd definitely go elsewhere.

I got a 43.5 inch pike done it is the ugliest thing I've ever seen ... it is laughed at every time someone see' s it. And when I went to pick it up it had grown to 47 inches, the whole fish is smeared with something and then repainted the painting is very ugly it does not at all resemble the fish I caught and he claimed to have 25 years experience?? Whatever u do ...do not bring ur fish there ....what a waste of $800 I could go on and on bit if u would see this thing you'd understand

Hours after my dog passed i called 3 other places and no one would takidermy my dog elite taxidermy told me what to do with the body till i got it there and were very conferring and told me when i could pick her up for cremation witch tool less when a week then i took her in a garbage bag so i didnt have to see to get cremated and in 3 months i think maybe less i got the head neck mount and the rug was very happy how it turned out and the service He was good at answering my queations and good to meet up with good directs and on time i am just waiting for my euro mount then it will be complete its already realy helpingbthe the griving process and i enjoy seeing her again

Hard to get a hold of, known in the industry as a flakey individual. Was warned by many about him, but when I met him he seemed so genuine. 2 years later still haven’t seen my mount. Finally get a call about it but when I asked for at least a discount for all the grief he’s caused me he refused. Said on my next mount he would. No way in a million years would I risk that. No communication. Wish I could go back in time and re think this decision. By looking on the google reviews I wish I would have checked this first…

1 star rating is 3 stars too high. 7-8 months turned into 19 months and only after lots of phone calls did he finally get my beautiful mule done. And it looks like a prius that got steam-rolled by a freight train and then obliterated by a meteor, before being chewed to pulp and barfed out by a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
