Aquamist Carpet Care

I am beyond pleased with the result of the cleaning of my eight year old living room and hallway carpet by Aquamist Carpet Care. I will use their services again. Please note, Aquamist has a minimum charge of $133.33 which covers cleaning of 300 sq feet of carpeting. I had about half of that so they offered me the option of spraying a Scotchguard type of solution on the carpets after the cleaning. The solution is supposed to help protect my carpets from stains. The total cost came to $140 including taxes. This wasn't the first time having the carpets cleaned. We used a carpet cleaner owned by my mom a couple of times. We'd also spot wash the carpet to keep the stains at bay. That being said, I had a heavy traffic area on the carpet in my living room and hallway. You could see the track where we walked. There were stains on both carpets. I wasn't sure if it was possible to get them out or to eliminate the tracks from where we walked. Jeff, I believe that was his name, is the person who cleaned the carpets. We talked about the heavy wear area. He was upfront with me and said he couldn't guarantee that the tracks wouldn't be visible after the cleaning. He said carpets do get to the point where the wear on the fibers is too great to get rid of. He said he'd do his best to get everything cleaned. After the cleaning, I could still see the tracks so I was apprehensive but once the carpet dried, they were gone. The carpet looks brand new. I am so happy. On a side note, we had removed all of our furniture out of the living room so that the entire carpet could be cleaned. The entire process took approximately 40 minutes. The drying took about two days because we had the cleaning done in October. If it'd had been the summer, I'm sure it would have been dry in a day. The after pictures attached to this show marks but those are just from vacuuming and the knap of my carpet.

These people double charged me for cleaning our area rug on January 9, 2023. They did not tell us they double charged us, my wife found it on my bank statement. When they were approached about this, via 12 emails from my wife, they continually blamed the issue on the company that runs/owns their debit machines. After telling me that the issue would be resolved and a refund would be back in my account on January 27, which did not occur, there was no further communication from them. It has been confirmed by my bank that there were two debit transactions which aqua mist refuses to believe even when sent a copy of my bank statement. When I called today, I was told it would take up to an additional month for my refund. To make me wait since January 9 for my refund is horrible customer service. If you wanted to retain me as a customer, you should have refunded my $96.17 RIGHT AWAY and dealt with the debit company yourself rather than making me wait. Currently still waiting for my refund. I’m going to lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau next.

This is the second time we have done business with Aquamist. Always awesome service. The technician is polite and very competent. This time, it was to clean a fabric couch. It’s like new!! Amazing as usual. We do not have to do with any other company for furniture and carpets!

I had an excellent experience with Aquamist. The front line booking staff were friendly and helpful and Technician Wade did an amazing and proficient job of cleaning my carpets. He was diligent, paid great attention to detail and had great interpersonal skills. He was a seasoned professional! Aquamist is now my ‘go to’ carpet care company and I recommend them without hesitation.

The experience started with timely, friendly responses from office staff. I shared some details and photos of my project and quickly received an estimate. I agreed with their reasonable price and got a booking within a few days of requesting. The tech showed up within a reasonable amount of time from our appointment. In the mean time I received a phone call from the office letting me know he was on his way. The tech arrived in a nicely wrapped van in a clean uniform. All his equipment was modern and well kept. He walked around with me, answered my questions, took some measurements, confirmed my estimate and got to work. He protected my walls, did his work, put up with my dumb dog and finished quickly. The job was great, the house smells nice. This is a rare business these days. 5 plus stars to the Aquamist team. I would use them again in a heart beat.

Your company was called in to remove asbestos from my bathroom celing on behalf of my landlord. While I had no problem on that, they left 2 sprays and one jug of unknown liquid in my hallway. With no label on that one it goes against what WHMIS requires especially when they leave it in my home and claim that the job was complete. There should have been a SDS sheet left with it.No job is ever complete without a full wipedown with removal of equipment and products from site.Plain and simple.The older gentleman was lippy from the moment I opened the door which shocked me, to the moment I had to remind them to take the unlabeled jug of liquid and I had to take it and leave it outside for him to grab as he strut out after 5 minutes of showing up and complaining. The tall one with him was cool as a cucumber btw.How can he complain that the job was complete, when he left products in my home? As a working professional, everyone knows to keep your whining and complaints with the crew. Not to the people's homes he enters and especially to the people whonlive there. This reflects with the company as a whole and he needs a reminder that no job is guaranteed.I have no hesitation using your company again in the future, but he needs to be talked to.

From the first telephone contact through to the finish of the carpet cleaning, Aquamist lived up to my expectations in every way. The fellow who arrived, on time, was friendly, polite and knowledgeable.The carpet cleaning was very thorough and in exactly the amount of time estimated. It was a pleasure dealing with Aquamist Carpet Care, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. This is a company that deserves a 5-star rating!
