Oreya Studio

I came in for a haircut for earlier this week. I booked my appointment through Instagram which was a really smooth process. Jen did a fantastic job with my hair. I’m so in love with my results and I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair. I’d definitely recommend booking with this studio! :)

I really wanted to love this place, after all it's been all over my social media. The salon is amazing, beautiful, my hair stylist was really nice, but not really what I expected. I was really looking forward to getting recommendation on which haircut would best suit my face (that is what I read they do and what videos all over my social media showed) but I didn't really get recommendations, the hairstylist just went along with anything I said. I wanted some layers, because I wanted a fuller look when I style my hair at home, but the layers are very odd looking and uneven. (please keep in mind I've been getting layers my whole life so I know what they should look like) A bit worst looking now that my hair grew a bit. I did get this haircut back in March and I didn't want to post anything but I have heard from other girls having similar experience and thought I should say something.

Love Oreya Studio! I always love the vibe whenever I go in! Everyone is so sweet and welcoming and have great music playing! I had my haircut done by Alexis and she was so quick and efficient. She understood exactly what I wanted from just a few reference photos and made some recommendations that would suit my face shape well. I’ve never felt so at ease with my hair in someone else’s hands!

I just had my first experience at Oreya and it was amazing. Firstly, they play banger music. I had Jesse, and he took time to understand what I really wanted and color matched perfectly. I had damaged dark brown hair with some blonde. I wanted to be honey blonde, and that's what I got! He gave me great tips on how to keep my hair healthy, and styled it beautifully as well. I can't wait to return, as I want to go even brighter next time! Thanks to Jesse, I feel beautiful again :)

As someone who is a retired licensed professional, Oreya is your go to place in the GTA.Anne is always so sweet and always making sure I’m satisfied at the end of my appointment! She is very talented with her blending skills and definitely a hair queen if you are looking for a trust worthy colour tech! The other stylist in the salon are very sweet and the atmosphere and music are the best vibes! I have been coming here for a year now and will always be returning:)

Such a great experience with Jesse! I usually hate getting haircuts cause I’ve had bad experiences at other places but I am so happy with the results. The salon is also super cute and is all around good vibes. Also — their Jūs product line works wonders for my hair!

First off, I never write reviews.Second, I am the hardest person to please with my hair. I always leave a salon frustrated beyond belief.I had the BEST experience with Jenn at Oreya. She gave me exactly what I wanted and had pictured in my head. She listened, she consulted and she absolutely nailed the cut and colour (balayage).I will absolutely be back and I highly recommend this salon and most importantly, Jenn.

I absolutely love this salon. The vibe, the people are so chill and they understand your needs. I didn't feel pressure or pushed to do anything, like some other salons. They were honest and accommodating.I got highlights and a blow out and I have never been happier with my results ! Stylist Jesse immediately saw the mistakes done from my previous hairdresser and was able to correct it. I am so pleased. Thank you Oreya! I can’t wait to come back!

Gotten my hair done twice now with Jenn, and all I can say is that THIS is my new go-to place for all things HAIR! Jenn was amazing and nailed what I ask for each time I came. Awesome atmosphere! Great vibe! And amazing people! Oreya is where it’s at!

Terrible experience at Oreya, I will not be returning or recommending. I’m still livid, and my hair is completely ruined. There is nothing I can do but wait until it grows out. Management was understanding and I have received a refund. Although, it was described as a “one off situation”. Wish someone told me that I was a test dummy. The stylist Gillian did not listen to what I asked for. I just wanted a little trim, LONG layers and face frame. Layers are choppy, not blended and uneven. Honestly just disgusting.
