Austin O'Brien High School

I graduated from AOB in 2003. I have very fond memories of my time there. The absolutely incredible Mrs. Hyde was the most remarkable English teacher I ever had. She recognized within me a talent for writing, and nurtured it so. I continued to build upon the rock-solid foundation she lay, and the genuine love with which she taught, which enabled me to become a prolific writer during my post-secondary education. Thank you Mrs. Hyde for everything! There are many other teachers who I can give accolades to, so I will extend a warm thank you to Mr. Grewich, Mr. MacDonald, and the the two gym teachers who always referred to all of us as Spanky". I had a great time at AOB and I remember those years with great fondness."

Excellent program!

Whether it's advanced placement academics, sports, arts, languages, trades and technologies - this school produces champions across the board. What's more, there is a true feeling of community and inclusion as students learn and grow guided by a framework of Catholic Faith in Action. It's no surprise that the 2020 open house was a completely packed affair as the audience glimpsed the potential of these amazing young people. Go Crusaders!

Really enjoyed my time here. They want to set you up for success. Friendly staff ! Even though I wasn’t apart of any team or club I still felt included as part of the student body here. Despite the challenges of graduating in 2020 everyone did the best they could to make sure we all felt celebrated. Thanks AOB !

Graduated in 1996 just wanted to let the art teacher know that I never actually drew any of that art work I had Pete draw it for me thanks for the 80% on my report card tho basically those credits were the only reason I got a diploma. As it turned out I still have yet to encounter an instance where I needed to know how many sides a rhombus has.

With respect to a few great teachers now retired be careful sending your kids here alot of the teaching staff are bully's too and should be working in public schools, offering humiliation over guidance.

Amazing school and staff. My son really enjoyed his time there. The teacher's really care about their students. It's not too big of a school so the students don't get lost in the crowd; but, it is big enough to offer many opportunities for those who want it.
