Brehannah is the only realtor you’ll ever need!! She helped me buy my first ever home in the middle of covid and I was SO grateful to have her guiding me. In our situation we were both selling our home (which could best be characterized as a unique property, I.e., of most interest to a select group of buyers) and purchasing a new home. We have sold and purchased a number of homes over the years and have experiences with many realtors. And so, as we started the selling process in 2021, we knew it was a good practice to interview a number of realtors to better understand their approaches to meeting our needs. For example, under pandemic conditions and with rising interest rates and a limited housing inventory, we needed a top-rated realtor who clearly understood the shifting drivers and forces behind market demand and had the skills to navigate those realities to position our home for sale in a manner that best represented our interests. We also needed someone who could utilize all available marketing tools (e.g., traditional and social media combining still photography, videography, drone video coverage, 360 simulation) to market our home as widely as possible. It was also important to us to have a realtor that was responsive in a timely way to our requests for information and feed-back as well as provide constructive well-informed advice on possible directions we could take or ones that we should not take.Brehannah far exceeded our expectations in meeting all of those needs plus all of the unexpected / unanticipated issues that we could not foresee at the start of the process. In what can be a very stressful time for home sellers and buyers, her on-going communication with us was clear, direct, honest, patient and understanding. We first met Behannah shortly after arriving in Nova Scotia. We had moved here after buying a piece of land to build our dream home on and were crushed to learn that this was not going to be able to happen due to unforeseen circumstances. We knew we needed to sell the land and figure out what was next after leaving everything behind in another province to pursue this dream. We’d seen that Brehannah had listings in multiple areas from downtown Halifax to far outside the city and decided to call her. From that moment on she took care of us and guided in a way we truly needed because we felt so lost. She quickly created a beautiful marketing package for the land and found a buyer faster than we ever imagined. And from there we set out to find a new home – unsure of exactly what we were looking for, where it should be, and even how much we should spend. We were only certain that it needed to bring us the same level of excitement and sense of home as we had dreamed of with building our own place. Brehannah patiently and expertly navigated us through several months of looking, and the viewing of more than 25 homes, never giving up hope on our behalf even when we were ready to ourselves. She counseled, she advised, she encouraged, she spoke the hard truth when needed, and she even cried tears of joy along with us when we finally found our perfect place. We know there are many things Brehannah did behind the scenes and last-minute changes to her schedule that she made in order to get us into showings and to look at possibilities, and the phrase that she never wavered from was, “I wouldn’t have it any other way.” And neither would we! Brehannah did an excellent job of getting me started on the house hunting process. She gave me great instructions on where to start, and how to set myself up for success. I appreciated her guidance in the process. As a first time home buyer, you don't realize all the different aspects of buying a home. From home inspections, to mortgage approvals, to lawyers, Brehannah gave insight to a variety of resources to help me through the process, and was beyond helpful in extending contacts in whatever issue arrised. Brehannah also gave sound advised on the biding process and I walked away with an offer I felt was fair in negotiations. Brehannah made herself very available during this time, even as we were in another country during the house inspection time frame. I was very appreciative of all direction and guidance during this stressful time.
