We sought out Frank Napolitano out because I had been impressed by his knowledge and experience, listening to his radio show. We were about to move and downsize in a major way, moving to Ontario after 37 years in Quebec. This in itself caused a lot of complications, plus we had a hiccup in terms of the day we needed to move and the day we were taking possession. Frank and Lianna his partner did everything in their power to enable all of this and to make it happen smoothly. Have been trying to get in touch with Frank Napolitano since May. We are two families (2 mortgages) which were about to lock into a 4.9% fixed at RBC and decided to call Frank for advice. He told us not to, and to go with him as he promised to lock us in at the best rate at that time after we completed the paper work. We never received confirmation of the rate lock-in, have sent multiple emails and did have a few phone conversations that seemed ok, but as we near the date that our current mortgage ends we have not heard from Frank. As such, we find ourselves very unhappy and in a position where we are very uncertain with where we stand with Frank, and at the point where we are talking with other brokers just to cover our bases. Happy to discuss, happy to change my rating, but of course, this is contingent on us actually receiving client care/service in some shape or form. If someone from Mortgage Brokers Ottawa reads this, please do not refer me to the complaints policy or the complaints manager - all I am looking for is an actual response from Frank, or if Frank is too busy, another agent within the next week (August 22-26, 2022).
