Good selection for such a small store. Nice to see some rotation of wines without having to go to a bigger store out of the way from the commute. The staff have always been very friendly.

Kevin has to be the kindest most helpful customer service rep I’ve encounter. He was super knowledgeable and took his time helping me find the perfect Champagne. I will be coming back to this LCBO location for the excellent customer service!

Great LCBO! Friendly service each and every time! It's a smaller store but has a great selection. Located beside Union Station subway exits in the PATH system.

Only the best stop to take wine, spirit, beer etc. Staff are very nice and friendly.

The team at LCBO 200 Bay Street Toronto are “the best”! Led by Adolpho and John, the team went above and beyond in supporting me, an American “unwise” in the ways of the LCBO, in coping with the uncertainties in timely securing “the champagne” for our daughter’s wedding (to a wonderful Canadian man) in Muskoka. I had put all my chips down by purchasing two cases of champagne on the LCBO website one week prior to arriving in Toronto from California, the product to be delivered to the Bay Street store, adjacent to the hotel we were staying at prior to traveling to Muskoka for our daughter’s wedding. I was beside myself when I met Adolpho in the store the morning of the day I had to travel north to Muskoka, and the order had not yet arrived. [Point of emphasis: It was the only champagne option for the wedding; there was no plan B!] Adolpho calmed me down by assuring me that we could accumulate the necessary number of bottles of my specific order (Piper Heidsieck and Laurent Perrier) from other stores, if necessary. Well, l left the store that morning, a bit dejected and very stressed! Aside from Adolpho’s assurances it would all work out, it was a bit out of everyone’s control and, in my clouded negativity, I thought I might let down the wedding party, my future son-in-law’s family, my daughter and the entire Canadian and U.S. citizenry. Slinking back to my hotel room for an afternoon of business calls, I received a call from Adolpho proclaiming “ David, your order is here!” While those words were joyous notes, it was Adolpho’s follow-up comment that overwhelmed me. “David, everyone here at the store was cheering for you when the order came in.” Wait, what? Ahh, of course, it was the “good and kindly mojo” from the team at the Bay Street LCBO that made it happen; that pulled the “ negative American” from the ledge. They really cared! Even though I purchased my champagne from the LCBO website which, as I was informed, provided no credit to the Bay Street store, the Team was in my corner. They had my back! It doesn’t stop there. Because my wife and I were traveling to Muskoka that same day in order to connect with the wedding party and our soon to be son-in-law’s family/ wedding planners, et al., we came in to the store in the late afternoon to pickup our precious cargo. With our daughter’s grandmother holding watch in our car which was double parked on the boulevard outside the store, I went to retrieve the two cases of champagne, immediately realizing the journey from store to vehicle was to be quite onerous. Have no fear, John was there! John moved into action by loading our champagne on to to a hand truck, strapping it down, then traveling the route from store, through the underground mall to the elevator, up to the outdoor plaza, then down a half block to our vehicle, all the time relaying the Team’s “joy” in being able to send us off with our bubbly and a smile. Wow! This is the A-Team! I missed the names of the other Bay Street Store team members involved, and am sorry). They were all so positive, so happy to help, and so “in our corner.” Oh, and the wedding was just magical. Our daughter was married to her love on the shores of Lake Joseph, and his father and I met each guest before the ceremony with a glass of champagne and a Tim-bit. Thank you all for making our special day “special.”
