The Mexican Corner Restaurant
Like most places in whistler, the food was expensive but the quantity didn’t really do the price justice. Nevertheless the food was still great, the tacos had juicy meat and fajita vegetables were cooked perfectly, with a good topping of cheese. They did however give us sour cream and guacamole which they proceeded to charge extra for.

I recently had a fantastic lunch at The Mexican Corner Restaurant and was blown away by the authenticity of the dishes and the exceptional service provided by our server, Poppy.From the moment we were seated, Poppy made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable dining experience. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us excellent recommendations for our meal, including the most popular dishes and her personal favorites.The food itself was nothing short of amazing. We sampled a variety of dishes, including tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, and each one was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous and the presentation of the dishes was beautiful.Overall, we had a fantastic time at The Mexican Corner Restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food. Poppy's exceptional service only added to the overall great experience, and we will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Excellent, authentic Mexican food, great service and delicious real fruit margaritas...so good! Highly recommended. We had dinner here on the weekend and it was simply amazing, the blackened tuna tostadas and the ash rubbed tuna main course were delicious. Service was top notch. Definitely good value for your dining dollar.

The better of the two Mexican places we ate. Really tasty food. mix of high and low tables. Quite a few steps if in ski boots but worth it for the food. Really enjoyed. Friendly staff, good drinks and fast service.

The Mexican Corner Restaurant
We visited this place for the fiesta hour. We had classic margaritas, a la casa flight, and a guacomole. Every single thing was so good! The margarita is so refreshing, and their salsa is the best salsa I have ever had!I also loved their staff -- so friendly and nice. Definitely the nicest among all the Whistler restaurants I visited. I would love to return for dinner next time :)

What a great restaurant with authentic Mexican food! Service was fantastic despite the restaurant being very busy (Abby was our server). We were seated within 10 minutes for a party of two without a reservation. The guacamole was top notch, the ash-seared ahi tuna was perfectly prepared and the mole sauce for the enchiladas was amazing! They have a wide variety of margaritas, and have authentic Mexican Coca-Cola in bottles. Will definitely be going back!

Unreal food spread, good service and sweet atmosphere! Tables are spaced a little close and therefore it gets crowded on the busier evenings. But the food was delicious! We had the 'Three Amigos' corn chips and dips as an appetizer, 'Enchiladas Mineras' and the 'Baja Fish, Baja Cauliflower and Rajas Poblanas Tacos

They accommodated our large group with a last minute reservation, and the service was wonderful. Both the blood orange, and the mango margaritas were delicious. The Three Amigos, and all of the tacos were so good, that I would drive to Whistler just to have more

Yummy food in Whistler. I didn’t have a reservation and surprisingly my family and I were seated right away. The restaurant was full, so we ended up getting really lucky! It’s not a large restaurant so they do fill up quickly. I do recommend you have a reservation especially on a weekend. They don’t have an extensive menu which I don’t usually mind. However, I was a bit unhappy they didn’t have burritos on the menu as I feel that’s pretty standard at a Mexican restaurant. My husband ordered 3 different types of tacos and I ordered the Verde enchiladas. For children they offer a cheese quesadilla without sides, 1 chicken enchilada with beans/rice, or a taco. We opted for the cheese quesadilla which he didn’t enjoy unfortunately.1. Short Rib Barbacoa taco- this was nice. It had a nice smokiness to it and it was really juicy and tender.2. Baja Fish taco- this was also really good. Nice and crunchy on the outside with a soft and flaky fish. The sauce/toppings really complimented the fish nicely.3. Baja cauliflower- I unfortunately didn’t enjoy this and I love vegetarian foods! In my opinion it just tasted like fried cauliflower. The florets were also really large, so it was awkward to eat. Also, the sauce/toppings didn’t seem like enough so there wasn’t much to taste besides the fried cauliflower.4. Enchiladas Verde- These were good. The Verde sauce wasn’t extremely tangy and it had a nice kick at the end. The chicken looked and tasted like it was like just boiled in water without seasoning, maybe salt was added? So really the flavor was coming from the sauce and cheese on top. It was soft and tender though.5. Cheese Enchiladas- my son unfortunately didn’t enjoy these. I forgot to ask what kind of cheese was used for these, but I think the taste was a bit strong for him.6. Rice and beans on the side- these were nothing special. Ordinary in my opinion.7. Mango margarita- This tasted like a typical margarita. They used tajin around the rim and some on top which I didn’t like. But I also don’t enjoy Tajin to begin with.We tried to order dessert but for some reason dessert was unavailable. Decent spot for Mexican food. Not sure if I would go back. They are very busy so make sure you order apps so you have something to munch on while waiting for your entrees. I would give this place 3.5 stars.
