Fujiya Foods - Vancouver

Fujiya is a very nostalgic Japanese super market for me! They have a ton of Japanese groceries and ingredients, as well as a great selection of meals, sushi, donburis and bento boxes. The prices are still reasonable!

I love this store! Their sushi selection is fresh and delicious. I bought some sashimi grade tuna from them to make tuna crudo with.I also love buying their frozen ramen from Franklin Labs. It makes for a delicious meal.I also love the red bean donuts they have at the bread section.I love how the store is so organized and clean.It's a great place to buy fresh Japanese food and Japanese ingredients.

So many options for a cheap and filling meal! It's a one stop shop with ready to eat foods, meats and veggies, and Japanese specialty foods. There's also a small area with tables and a microwave for eating in store.

Fujiya is a Japanese supermarket with several branches within Vancouver and one in Victoria. They are a great place for picking up ingredients for Japanese home cooking, and also carry a good selection of ready made, prepacked foods for when you don't have the time, energy or desire to eat in a sit down restaurant. They've got rolls, sashimi, bento boxes, onigiri, donburi...etc. For a supermarket, the quality of the food is very good. (Avocado roll is my personal favourite as they are very generous with avocado. I hate it when restaurants skimp on the ingredients!)We stopped here to get some food that we could take to my mom's place for dinner and bought: Aji Fry Box Bento, Saba Box Bento, Creamy Corn Croquette, Inari Sushi Pack, Takoyaki, California Roll and Spicy Dynamite RollI recommend shopping at the location on Clark Drive if you can. This authentic Japanese grocer has been around for decades. They offer everything you need from assorted takeout sushi to purchasing ingredients to create your own sushi. Everything is priced reasonably and the sushi is made fresh. Sushi is available even for vegetarians. I had the spicy avocado tempera which was yummy and healthy. They have quite an assortment of fish cakes in their deli section. If you want tasty and quality sushi at great prices this is the place especially if you are having a party.This is the locals go to place for decades. I usually go to the Clark Drive location but there are other locations such as downtown Vancouver, Richmond, and Victoria. The one on Clark Drive is open 7 days a week from 10:30 am – 6:00 pm. A great stop if you have a hankering for sushi after work. They have a small parking lot but there’s usually free parking on Venables.

It is the closest thing to walking into a small Japanese grocery store just like in Japan in Vancouver. Their sushi is delicious and they have lots of foods and snacks from Japan that you might crave if you visited Japan before. What a great place to get your Japan food fix.

Great Japanese bento! The deli at Fujiya is always good (fresh & tasty) and, even with the effects of inflation, a good value for the money ❤️ When we arrived at 11am the store was busy with lots of people, but everyone was polite and considerate and the checkout line moved fast.

Oh my! I went in here looking for QP Mayo, and I left spending $50 at their lunch deli. Best inari pockets I've had, great nigiri, and the other stuff was all BUSSIN. MAKE ME HAPPY WHY DONT YOU FUJIYA FOODS???? Much, much, much, much, much, much better than Mr.Mikes.

We go to Fujiya regularly for sushi and bento. Delicious, reasonably priced and portioned. Friendly staff.
