Blue Barrel Gallery Café
This is a pretty building with a great art gallery. The staff are very helpfuland friendly but the baked goods were old and stale, even though we were assured they were made that morning. Visit for the art and atmosphere- but leave the food alone.

Beautifully restored building with great decor and art. Good sweets but the coffee was bad. Bagged commercial coffee is not what we expected after seeing the beautiful sweets on Instagram. Hoping they start caring about the quality of coffee. Will keep our eyes on the Instagram updates and hope to see that change and give it another try. Very disappointed.

Below average cafe. Above average gallery.Gallery: open, spacious, nice light, good artwork.Cafe: baked goods are just okay. The coffee is cafeteria style pots, and any espresso drinks are from a machine.

This place surprised me with a great tasting chili for lunch...probably the best I've ever tasted in a restaurant in Canada. Kudos to the chef. Good value, great taste.

Very lovely cafe with speciality drinks from a nescafe machine, along with a choice of a few desserts. There are prints and some artisanal crafts and items from around the area for purchase as well.The early hours makes it a great place to start your day.
