I live in Avila Apartment on 7th street for 6 years in apartment 11,Lucky is an amazing person and she makes the building very clean and smell so good, she is such a sweet, kind and very friendly person. I always wish her success because she .deserves the best

This is more of a review of a specific person in the company than the company as a whole, however I feel that this person's demeaner spoke wonders for the company too. I viewed an apartment today with Dalton and found myself instantly put at ease with their friendly and approachable attitude. I felt comfortable, welcomed, and could sense the true passion and interest they had in showing the suite. We joked, talked, and laughed though they never lost an ounce of his professionalism. I left today feeling as though I would greatly enjoy working with Dalton and Mainstreet in the future and hope to do so! Thank you again for a pleasant and comfortable viewing experience Dalton, it was greatly appreciated.

Today I received the keys for unit number 1 in Avila apartment and I liked that it was very well cleaned, I thank to the cleaner lady for that her name is Lucky

I recently contacted this agency regarding a potential apartment rental. I was shocked to find out that it took two weeks for me to get a response. Even more so,I was asked for personal security questions like my bank statement for the past two months and an unusual amount of security documentation, such as a screenshot of my current bank balance, before offering any apartment!!!I was then told that there were no apartments available. Instead, I was offered a three bedroom apartment at three times the rental fee over the one bedroom that I had requested!!!!The agent was rude and unhelpful, claiming it was my fault that I filled the form late (the exact day after they sent the form!)I recently contacted the main office to seek clarification on situation, however, I did not receive any assistance.Asking for personal information before showing any apartments is not something any customer should be subjected to!

Left me without a fridge for 11 days. And then sent someone into my apartment without concent or notice, and then ignored me after. Called main office in Calgary. A bunch of cowards. Worst experience ever. 10/10 do not recommend. Lots of homeless people in halls dirty. I will let people know if this goes away or gets worse. EMBARRASSING

Easy process to move in and whatnot. Although I was showed a nice modern apartment with laminate flooring. Got moved into an apartment with older appliances and cupboards and old carpet flooring so that was surprising. Chose an apartment specifically with a dishwasher because I hardly have time to do dishes. My dishwasher hasn’t been working since January and most likely won’t get replaced until May I was told, which is really frustrating. Nothing anyone can do about it. Rent is expensive, laundry is expensive but the staff is friendly and try their best to do what they can for you.

In a world that is full of people who claim to be customer service oriented but leave you with a bad experience, it is indeed a breath of fresh air to finally find someone who is the epitome of customer service. I had the pleasure of connecting with Keisha Robinson-Saunders of the 20th Street West location of Mainstreet Equity. While I am disgruntled with the quality of living presented by the company, my attitude towards the company was changed after speaking with Mrs. Robinson-Saunders. My issues were quickly dealt with and she went the extra mile to see that all issues were resolved. If Mainstreet's apartment reflected the service extended by Mrs. Robinson-Saunders, there would be less issues and a more conducive atmosphere to live. Thanks again Mrs. Robinson-Saunders, you have reignited my hope in customer service through our encounters.

If you are looking for an apartment, I am giving you a friendly advice that you should not choose Main Street. Since we moved to 22nd St W, our dishwasher has been leaking. You will notice that there is a problem with the machine, but guess what? It's been 4 months, and they have sent us three maintenance workers already, but this garbage thing is still broken. The first maintenance worker who checked this already requested a replacement because of the condition of the dishwasher, but management didn't take any action. When we followed up for the replacement, we found out that the maintenance worker had already resigned, so they sent us another maintenance worker, and the request for replacement was refused. Three maintenance workers have already checked this garbage dishwasher and said that there is no problem, but when I pull the dishwasher, the whole thing comes out. This is such poor customer service and maintenance. They want to keep the garbage dishwasher than to keep a good payer tenant like us. Then keep your garbage dishwasher we’re moving.

The staff is friendly, hence the 1 star. We were promised a quiet and peaceful flat, but our upstairs neighbor was a nightmare. We do not mind the normal noises from vacuuming, walking or kids screaming. In our case, the upstairs neighbor has young children who are constantly running, jumping, and stomping from early morning to late evening. Things are moving around in their apartment, and they are dropping balls on the floor. The ceiling is so thin that it causes vibrations from these excessive noises that we had to leave the house on weekends. Keep in mind that I have a full-time job. Both tenants pay the same rent, but we are unable to stay in the house most of the time due to the disturbances. We sleep with earphones on to reduce noise, but it still surprises us when the kids jump. Living in such poor living conditions deprives us both mentally and physically. We've notified the building manager and Mainstreet numerous times, but the problem has never been resolved. We were informed that they were given a warning letter, yet nothing changed. Responsible parents would install sound-absorbing mats to reduce vibrations, educate their children to respect neighbors, or at the very least bring them to indoor playgrounds to relieve their energy. We called the cops, but they told us to contact the property management. As newcomers, we have nowhere to seek help. Future tenants, please check who your neighbors are. Best to stay away from shady promises. And, yes, we will leave as soon as we could to look for a HOME, not just a house!
