très bon hôpital. personnel très gentil et compréhensif. J'apprécie vraiment leur service.

I just hate the emergency service here. You have to wait up to 24hrs or more to be able to finally visit an emergent and tell them what’s wrong with you and th reason of consultation. I remember taking my mom to the hospital after a car accident, I sat there for more than 10h and ended up being impatient and asked for help as my had an accident yesterday. You wouldn’t believe that I was told ‘so what if shed had an accident, the accident was yesterday. NOT today and she is not bleeding which means it is not serious at all! So wait here for your turn and you will be called later.’These were the exact words used. And finally after spending 23hrs was finally able to see a doctor who gave her a pain killer. Ridiculous!

Très très mauvaise expérience. Je souffre d'une hernie discale et depuis 5 mois je me rends à l'urgence de l'Hotel Dieu de Sherbrooke et enfin j'ai rencontré un médecin (pas à l'Hotel Dieu) et j'ai enfin reçu un diagnostic. Après 5 mois de douleurs aiguës !!!

The operator and customer care line is so unprofessional. Called twice and each time listening to what I am saying, she transferred the call and the next agent dropped the right away.

Mais quelle belle incompétence des médecins d'urgence.Ma conjointe y va pour un oeil rouge et enflé. Ils la retournent après un examen de 5 minutes disant que c'est une réaction allergique aux faux cils. Prescrivent un antibio sans faire plus de test. 5 jours plus tard le problème n'est pas règlé et est même pire. Prend rendez vous à notre clinique. Ils font un examen plus poussé incluant une panoplie de test dont un avec lumière UV. Résultat grafigne de la cornée doit consulter ophtalmo en URGENCE car c'est grave. Possibilité de séquelles permanente à l'oeil. Si il y a séquelles permanente il y aura poursuite contre l'établissement de santé.Vraiment vous faites pitié de par votre incompétence.

I was turned away from the emergency department for the first time in my life. The triage nurse didn't even check me out, take my temperature, blood pressure or anything, and didn't care that I have a history of blood clots. Looked at me for half a second, declared that my severe allergic reaction and eye bleed was just conjunctivitis and told me to go to the pharmacy to get eye drops that I apparently need a prescription for. I'm 100% certain that it was because I am anglophone, as he wouldn't speak to me at all, barely made eye contact with me and directed all questions to my husband who is francophone. Will not go back unless absolutely necessary.
