ONIGIRI JAPAN

I ate kimchi udon and tuna onigiri. I didn't expect much because it was cheap, but the taste and amount were great.

I had a bulgogi Poke bowl yesterday and it was awesome & tasty! All staff are very friendly. I strongly recommend to visit here and taste it, you will be happy!

This store is my favorite!!!They have the best poke in this town! Food is fresh and staffs are very kind. You should visit this hidden gem.

It's a must-visit place if you like onigiri. It's full of ingredients and seasoned rice. I had 2 kinds of nice Poke series that are suitable for diet because the salad and ingredients have a good balance. As expected, it was great. Also We had beef bulgogi bento and udon since we aren2 families and it was more than the price and it was delicious. If I have a chance, I'd like to visit again

Ok. This place is my go-to and may be my secret obsession. I have had everything at least twice. Its never let me down. I find myslef walking here from my office without even knowing it. Thats how good and cosistent the food is here ! Amazing portion! Poke here is hands down my favourite Poke place. The Salmon Poke with a mix of Gomae and spicy mayo sauce!! And they keepn choices simple not confusing like other poke places. And the sushi and onigiri here need honorable mentions as well! Service is great and quick. If you want a different sort of breakfast you have to try their breakfast special! Jason the owner/ chef is awesome too! Its tucked away in the Nexen building but worth the walk and youll definitley want to drop a pin on this place in your Maps. Onigiri takes my #1 spot for favourote lunch time places to eat! Prices are great as well for the portions. Enough said... going to polish off this Chicken Teriyaki Poke bowl!Update: just had their breakfast and now trying their special sushi box for today. Couldn't actually wait until lunch time. Awesome beautiful presentation! And tastes even better! Did I mention that the food at Onigiri makes me happy!??? So happy.

If you add kimchi to Tenpura Udon, it's so delicious. The store is so clean!!! The boss is so kind, especially the staff who takes orders :) I’ll visit here again!

I have frequented Onigiri Japan in the newly renovated Nexen food court a few times now - I keep going back for their Shrimp Poke Bowl. It’s freshly prepared in the back after you select what dressing you would like to use when you order. Portion and prices are decent for what you get, especially in Downtown Core.When you first approach their white kiosk, it seems vary bare. The small refrigerated area that they have always has limited selection when I’ve gone but they will offer to make anything that’s on the menu, so that’s always nice.

So glad they survived!! The portions are a bit small if you're a big eater (it's okay, just pick up an onigiri!!) but so excited to still have an onigiri that was close to the ones found in Japan. The filling was generous within the rice balls and the rice had a wonderful texture. My favourite was the cajun shrimp as it has pieces of quality shrimp hidden away inside! The poke bowl ingredients are fresh and the bento boxes offer a nice selection of sides and teriyaki sauce isn't too sweet which I appreciated. You can tell love and quality have gone into this food.. now I just wish it wasn't across town from my office!

I was craving onigiri and heard about this place so I had to visit. It hurt my heart to see this beautiful space empty due to the current situation, but this is about the food. I was skeptical when I saw the size of the onigiri, but soon came to appreciate the fact that you can eat 3 or 4 of them with a side and a drink and have a good lunch. The rice to filling ratio is perfect. The seasoning is spot on, and the flavour selection is pretty good.If you don't like onigiri, they also have donburi, udon, and poké bowls.The staff is super nice, and again, a clean and beautiful space.
