Charged for fuel even though the car was returned full. See lots of similar reviews of hidden charges and disappointed customers. Best to avoid this company/location.

I really did not enjoy some of this experience.Everyone knows that car rental is not the most trusted of industries. I am used to the extra charges they manage to make you pay. This time it went above and beyond. They provided us with a car that already had damage to a wheel. The wheel blew out on holiday, luckily not in a situation where it was dangerous, it could have been bad though! I replaced it with the spare tyre and tried to complain when I returned the car. The mechanic treated me like I know nothing about cars! I lived in a van for 6 months mate"

Beware everyone not to deal with these thieves and not to give them your credit card information, because they simply will not return the insurance amount you paid in advance, and when you return the car to them and ask them if there is any fine, they will answer no, no problems, and after a month they will deduct double fines from you without any reason. This is a group of thieves, not a reputable company at all

Very bad experience from beginning to end. Ended-up being robbed:- The seller tried (and succeeded) to sell me an upgrade of the car. But the guy told me the upgrade car would be a hybrid that would consume less. THIS WAS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. It was a Toyota CHR, which sometimes come as hybrids, which mistaken me. THE ONE THEY GAVE ME WAS NOT A HYBRID. The seller just LIED, plain and simple.- They offered me to bring the car on a Sunday night, by simply dropping the keys in a mailbox. This seemed practical and easy, I accepted. THIS WAS A MISTAKE. They charged me more than 400EUROS for pretended damages, But I am 99pc sure (I give them 1pc the benefits of the doubt) that I have brought the car in pristine state.- They charged my credit card, without even sending me an invoice or notification about the damages. I had to call an inefficient Service to get the details. It took this service one month to send me a details about the damages they had charged me (with bad pictures not even clearly displaying any damages). Of course, I had no possibility for recourse.LIARS AND THIEVES. Location is convenient, and prices seams cheap. BUT BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS when dealing with them. They have third country fraudulent practices. I would advise going to more expensive brands, diminishing the risk of adverse and dishonest behavior.I hope this will help. I can foresee my comment will be deleted, since the negative comment I saw 2 months ago about this piteous establishment has been deleted.

I have never seen a well known brand car rental company would do this to their customers. I was charged with damages on the car that existed when I picked up the vehicle. There were small dents here and there, and as I rented cars in different countries, many with avis/budget, there weren’t any issues with these minor items, in addition, they actually circled a damage spot in the contract so I would trust they are doing a good job handling such which i would care less. However, as usual, I took pictures before I pick it up which I never need to use those pictures again.Guess what? I now have been charged on the damages on the vehicle and that’s more than double than my rental cost! I sent pictures to the mentioned email and then, no replies at all!Totally irresponsible and ruined my vacation which was almost perfect until the end, with this experience.Have escalated this and this needs to be resolved. This particular store needs to be re-assessed with their genuinity. Period.After the conversation with the management team this has been resolved. Thanks to the management team and now pending for the refund from this incident.

IT'S A SCAM!! Got a car with hidden" scratches on. Since I read the other reviews carefully I checked for 30 minutes every square centimeter of the car when i picked it up with a torch and DSLR. Informed staff but they didn't care

Tried renting a car from them but they asked 100 euros for 24 hours although on the internet it was 67 euros. Then they drop the price to 76 euros but without insurance. When you have an accident you need to pay the first 1000 euros. So this is the game plan? Renting out cars and hoping people have accidents so they can cash in 1000 euros? They would surely invoice me for any minor thing even if I didn't have an accident. Budget my xxx. This is a scam operation and I'm not participating. No wonder people refuse to rent cars and these companies don't make any money. Their solution? increase the scam...

TOTAL SCAM. At first I thought it was only me but then I read other reviews and saw similar things they did with other clients. So this must be their modus operandi. At first they try to sell you an upgrade on the car and when you say no they go for trying to sell you there highest insurance plan. Both of which I said no to. So they told me I needed to check the car for any bumps or damages but they don't send anybody with you to check the car. Anyway I did stroll around the car looking to see if I found anything. I only saw the bumps they had mentioned. Remember there was no one from Budget at the parking lot. So I took the car for 5 day without any incidents, scratches or anything. When I took the car back to them 2 Budget guys went to inspect the vehicle with wash clothes and everything. As they couldn't find any bumps they saw" a scratch on the rim of the 2 right wheels. And when I say "saw" I mean they even had to clean up the rim to see it (I'm including photos so you can see). Well the thing is I am sure I didn't scratch the rims and I am sure that was there. So then they told me "you should have taken the full insurance" so it hit me that this was just a plain scam. They proceeded to charge me 305 euros for some scratches that you can barely see. So they are charging me 2 new rims and most probable is that they are not even going to change the rims on the car.Please everybody do not rent from these guys."

They charged an extra $100 on a renting period of 1day.. Afterwards, NO reaction or communication at all.When Budget Car Rental says $180 for one day, be aware they will charge $280. We will never use this agency again.

To avoid! They don't accept any debit cards differently than the others, but still take booking online with no mention on the website so you'll have to cancel last minute.Plus, they close earlier than others.
