Exit Surrey - Hwy 10

I've been to this Exit location twice and have failed to escape with my group on both occasions. The riddles can be tricky and go off track from the main story line. There are too many locks you have to familiarize yourself with in order to unlock clues. Staff members are helpful and there's tons of parking available in front of the place.

Friendly staff! The room is quite confusing considering it being a medium level. Antique museum was well propped. My flashlights we were given kept dimming and shutting off with the slightest bump. It got quite annoying having to constantly battle with the flashlight to see where I was going.

It was my first time doing an exit experience and everything was fine until we encountered some faulty equipment. We never completed the room in the allotted time. It really dampened our experience and probably won’t return.

The escape room had no real storyline told before to help us understand. No ambiance, no music. We could hear the staff talking outside the room while trying to solve puzzles. The experience with the staff were horrible and audacious. The young girl with the blonde hair had started talking about us right after she closed the door and we could here everything she was saying. She was talking about how we gave her so much attitude when we didn’t even say anything to her. This was completely unnecessary and shocking. After that, we couldn’t even focus on the room properly and didn’t feel like asking for a hint to further our progress as we didn’t want to interact with her further. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This is the least favourite escape room I've done. We did the psychiatric unit and the room was pretty bare and lacked ambiance. There's not a lot of clues to search for which takes the fun out of it. The clues and puzzles also don't tell much of a story.When we began, there was one puzzle for us to start with, and you can only progress by solving one puzzle at a time. It's not good as a team activity because the puzzles are very linear, the rooms are also very small, and you feel like only 1-2 person can work on a puzzle at a time. Other escape rooms will have 2-3 puzzles that you can do at the same time, and when you solve them, it all comes together to solve a bigger puzzle. It's more fun this way because everyone can be working on different puzzles at the same time and can work as a team.Also the puzzles themselves are also not that interesting or fun, and somewhat illogical. And when we asked for a hint, the employee came in and just gave us the answer instead of giving us a hint to help us solve it ourselves.Too pricey for poorly designed room/puzzles with flashlights that barely work.

the store was nice and clean and I was really impressed. when my group started the room we were told where to start but when we rang for hints, they didn't come right away and we lost time due to it. we weren't even told how to solve the last puzzle, we were buzzed back to the main room and we didn't like that

I've been to other escape room and thought this would be a fun family experience but it wasn't.This was the first time taking the family. Our room wasn't setup. The first clue was missing, we wasted so much time. They apologized and just passed us on to the next room. My son never wants to return because it was so boring due to no progress. Combination locks didn't work even if you had the correct combination. Flash lights kept turning off which was frustrating as well.I paid $150 for 5 of us. Overall it was a bad experience.Each room need to be checked before each game and locks need to be replaced if faulty.

To many fine signs preventing us to look for more clues, couldn’t touch anything then the boxes. But the clues were on a sword and in the rocks a necklace. If there weren’t that many fine signs I would have looked harder.

To the guy closing on Thursday night (so sorry I didn't get your name) - you were freaking fantastic! Not only did part of our group show up late and you accommodated, your dry sense of humour was hilarious and we went home after completing the escape room still laughing. Will definitely be returning again if you're working!
