Somehow they think they are Gods. This morning Murray Roy came to our site and he was full on anger. He asked me last week to send our info to him and I did right away. This morning he demanded in very loud tone that I must write and give to him again. He was so upset that he was all red and angry. This is what we get for our tax dollars. Not sure if they cant find professional people or what. We deserve better. We always comply with law and make sure we cover all angles for safety of site and trades. Somehow they think they can barge in and bully because they have the badge.No matter what this guy has issues and someone needs to look into his personal anger

So true Imelda Santos, your story is very common. Like many nurses, I was fired while on medical leave for the injuries the WRHA caused me after I filed a harassment complaint and Right to refuse unsafe work. As an organization Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health and the Labour Board are extremely negligent and medically unqualified, as are our union executives. A huge waste of taxpayer money is misappropriated to these lawyers and Civil servants in Public Trust who defend government incompetence and misconduct. Condoning the wrongful dismissal of workers and extorting illegal gag orders to those who report health and safety violations is not in the Public Interest and a Breach of Public Trust.

Had an extremely serious incident at work that needed to be reported right away. Contacted this department and they assured me that with me contacting them I had not to worry about losing my job or getting in trouble from my employer for reporting the unsafe work.Next day I was fired. Contacted them again and they said the best thing they could do for me was to try and get my job back or remove my file from my HR.People Thing twice about reporting unsafe work and LOOSING your job!

There were on top of bad practice in Portage.

I made a complaint and they said they'd contact me with a follow up and they never did so much for health and safety
