We have been to this restaurant a few times for birthday and other celebration. We enjoyed it every time. Great service great food great atmosphere great team there.We did recommend it to our friends.They tried it and love it. I recommend this restaurant if you like Thai food fond a place to celebrate an event or simply a nice dinner.I love the soft crab and mango salad, the pineapple fried rice. They are delicious and good for pictures. We also ordered fish cakes, the pad thai, the morning glory the mango sticky rice dessert. All dishes are good.

Great flavours in the food and overall service was good from the waiters. I would definitely recommend booking ahead of time, it can get extremely busy on the weekends.The mango pudding and volcano ribs were the highlight, though they are definitely on the pricier side.

Great food and ambiance, but service is lacking. Since it just opened, I accept that it usually takes time to adjust so I didn't knock one star off for service. Firstly, this is a great addition to the 905 area as it offers delicious food, a bar area with a large TV for sports events and a lounge-y feel dining area, which is beautifully appointed. The food taste and decor were a 10 out of 10. The food is on the pricier side, but I think the quality and presentation warrant it. I did not like that it took FOREVER for them to take our order; they took orders from the table beside us first who came in after us and we had to wait a while for our food too. My husband's pineapple rice came over 5 min after my green curry while the table beside us got everything ten minutes earlier (not fair). It then took forever for us to get our bill. We mentioned this to the waitress and she apologized and again, as it's a new restaurant, I will not fault them for it. While the menu says there is a lunch special, be aware that there is no lunch special. In my view, the restaurant needs to offer a daily lunch special. Overall, the food was good and I will be back to check if the lacking service was a one-off.

Authentic flavours of Thailand presented beautifully in a relaxing setting. Courteous servers, attentive to your dining needs (chopsticks, water temperature, spice level and napkin / plate change). Definitely a gratifying dining experience for families. Special shout out to Thai (our host) for making the meal extra memorable.

Their food was presented nicely. The decor is nice too. The service was a little slow not sure if due to the party size of 10. Curry was good. Lamb was very tender but the duck was chewy a bit dry so difficult to eat. Their pad Thai is made of fresh noodles so it's very soft. Not the typical pad Thai which I prefer.

Came here for my birthday and the food was delicious albeit a bit in the expensive side. Shrimp cakes and the Mango stick rice was probably the highlight. Shrimp cake was Crispy and very flavorful. Mango sticky rice had a good amount of coconut and sweetness to it. Perfect was to end off a meal. For main we ordered the Khao Soi, Thai volcano ribs, pineapple shrimp red curry. All were very tasty and flavourful. They could've given more rice and noodles though to go with the Khao soi and red curry.Service was alright. They were really busy. At the end when they were cleaning up the table to get ready for dessert, they spilled all the bowls and plates into my friend and got his clothes dirty. They didn't really apologize or offer to give us a discount on the meal.Atomosphere wise when there's many people it gets loud and hard to talk and hear other people. Almost have to shout to the person beside you.

Isaan Der leaves a lasting impression. Despite its small size, the ambiance was delightful and far from feeling cramped. With its tastefully designed interior and vibrant, colorful lighting, the overall experience was enhanced.The food is reasonably priced, and the restaurant is clean and upscale inside. The area it’s located in is known for food, but there’s something about a Downtown Toronto quality restaurant in the suburbs that makes me happy about living in the suburbs. It makes suburbia a little more bearable and for that, we need more restaurants of Isaan Der’s quality.The menu boasted an array of traditional Thai dishes I intend to go back to try the dishes that piqued my interest but didn’t order during my first visit (yes, there will definitely be more visits).While the food was generally good, there were a few shortcomings, which detract from making this a perfect restaurant. The chicken satay, although had a satay sauce from the gods, was dry. The oysters are topped with fried onions, which make for an “interesting” texture. The green curry delivered an exceptional taste experience despite its spiciness and dry beef. Finally, the pad Thai stole the limelight with its unforgettable flavors and visually pleasing presentation.Would recommend and will return. As of my review on June 1st, 2023, they do not have their liquor license yet. Can’t wait until they do, there’s a lot left of their drinks menu to try.

Called ahead and booked reservations for the Canada day long weekend for a party of 5. Only available time was 5pm or 8pm. I booked 5pm. Unfortunately by the time our group arrived, they can't find my reservation! Fortunately they able to sit my group down in 15 minutes.Good atmosphere. Excellent service. Good food. Server was kind and gave us recommendations. Suggested us order for the appetizer platter. But we have 5 people. He was able to accommodate us by adjusting all the quantities to 5, as well as the chicken satay from 4 skewers to 5.

Very busy restaurant. Only take reservations for 5 or more. They don't have the liquor license yet so to me... $12 for the drink is way over priced without alcohol. The Tom Yum soup is great, scallops is a bit over cooked. Pineapple fried rice is good. Curry was fine.. can skip. Desserts are great. I felt they rushed us to finish our dishes and leave. For sure it was long queue outside for dinner.

I love this restaurant, the food is fantastic, authentic, delicious and filling. They also have vegan and vegetarian options and are open and happy to make adjustments. I had chicken pad see ew with vegetarian oyster sauce because I'm allergic to oyster sauce and they happily made the change. The service is fast, food arrives quickly after ordering and the dining area is beautiful (but just a bit loud). It is a popular location so highly recommend reservations. Note that the only accept reservations for parties of more than 5, anything else is walk in only. But if you come during peak hours, be prepared to wait for an hour. Their online reservation system has not yet launched but as per their website, its coming soon. This place is worth the wait though (and there is a wait, outside) but the food will not disappoint.
