Collège La Cité

Rides were amazing the rollercoaster are huge for an inside park. Don't forget the pool in the basement. Truly the biggest waves I ever saw in a wave pool. But beware the food is expensive even though it is delicious. Would come here again.

They're money hungry and greedy. The college is not organized at all. Takes a while to get my schedule and they change it for unknown reasons. They don't answer emails and calls. Teachers can be very rude. Language teachers like French and English teachers and their classes are a joke. Some of them can barely speak the language they're supposed to be teaching. Had to pay over 50$ for an exam and the exam itself was full of errors and the majority ended up failing it naturally. On my first semester we had to write an exam on the ground. Everyone in class was laying on their stomach on the hard floor for an hour and this was at 8pm during covid so pretty much the whole school was empty, why didn't we use a classroom that has desks? There is also 2 classes that I didn't get in my schedule and I was lucky enough to have a friend tell me about it and I was able to do them on time to graduate. It is their duty to give us in our schedules the classes we paid for. I don't wanna have to think about things like this. They get paid for a job that they don't do because they're incompetent. Also I just love it when they talk about qualities like hard work, professionalism, attention to details, communication etc. They really should use their own advices.

Honestly, a lot of foreign students are bien denied access to a countries by immigration because agent or school representative refuse to pick up immigration calls. Sad sad sad sad sad

In high school, I was very enthusiastic about programming and doing different projects. I also did very well and was looking forward to expanding my knowledge in Computer Science. Then I went to this college for my first year, teachers have attitude and aren't helpful, some students have to help the teacher out with the lessons, plus the work from the school makes you not want to pursue your major. You're basically paying to teach yourself, I do not recommend going here even if you are french.

Took two programs in this school one of which was Respiratory Therapist….the teachers for that one explain things as if they think everyone understands the same way they do !! The heck. Had to quit that one while I still could. Second one was Business Admin, ended up graduating from it and it’s the best choice I’ve ever made so far. BUT ! Some of their teachers I have no idea where they get them from. But in all honesty they weren’t all bad. The hours are messed up ! You could have one class at 10am and a whole 5 hour break in between the second class!!!!

Unfortunately this school is not up to standard , they have no commitment to their students , bad admin ,bad teaching and bad management ,would not recommend to anyone.They probably going to reply to this complaint by saying :We are sorry to hear thisSadly no action and no accountabilityThere is no point in keep saying you are sorry and no “changes “.

My program was good. Although, terrible student service. The prof were very rude with my older sister who went to school in French for her whole life. I would not recommend it if your first language is not French. Better off at Algonquin.

La Cité was the absolute worst. Couldn't answer emails, wouldn't give schedules, Teachers are racist and have no teaching experience. I paid for a semester tuition and they refused to give me all my classes, instead they wanted me to pay extra to do summer school for THEIR MISTAKES. I paid to do an exam, they lost it and after months of asking for my grade, they gave me a fail. I told them I knew they lost it and that I wanted to see the exam, they refused and then stopped answering me. I had to threaten a seize and desist in order to get my emails answered. I had 90s and above in all my classes until I started having problems with the school, suddenly I failed 3 classes. They wouldn't let me look for a coop because I was missing the class they didn't let me take, until the week of the COOP, by then it was too late to find a place. I still haven't finished my program, and I don't p'an to finish it at this awful school. Do not go to La Cité.

Please work on the wait time, it's unacceptable I spent 3 hours and 30 minutes just to have a live representative to speak to and that is not even the first time. Either hire more people or monitor the time your representative spend speaking with people.

My friends goes to this college and what they’re experiencing is beyond my understanding. They decided to move on and not finish. la cite do not care at all about what their students is experiencing.
