Halifax West Children's Center

My child attends this daycare , he absolutely loves it since his first 2 weeks , as a father I was nervous but the staff told me it usually takes two weeks for a child to get into a routine . I thought it would be a rocky two weeks from my little guy but actually the staff made it so much easier on my wife and I as well as my child on his third day he was begging me to leave him there with his friends to keep playing . I was mind blown .We have made great friendships with the staff they are like family , you always know your child is being taken care of the same as what you would yourself as the mother and father . The staff are so friendly and outgoing it’s so welcoming when you come in every single morning , The walls are bright colour , The place is always smelling so fresh ( not like you think a daycare would smell LOL )They enjoy all the outdoor activities , exploring around the community around them my little guy tells me about all the walks and adventures they go on and the sites they see while we’re driving home . I look forward to all his stories every single day since I’m not with him but I know exactly who’s with him and im more than happy with that .Thanks to the staff and children for making it so easy on my little guy

One of the best daycares in the city. The teachers, director and cook take pride in their jobs, and it shows. They are amazing with the children, and the centre is always spotless. The teachers went above and beyond to put covid protocols in place and at the same time ensure the kids are still having the best daycare experience possible. I couldn’t imagine sending my kids to any other daycare. I highly recommend Halifax West to anybody who is in need of childcare.

I am a parent of two kids, they’re both at Halifax West Children’s Centre. All the teachers here are the best, they take really good care of every single kid. They are my friends and we love them, my kids enjoy everyday there and they love the teachers just as much as they love us.I trust all of the teachers and I love all of them. So please, if you have a kid and you are thinking of whether to come here or not, you need to stop by, and you’ll see how happy the kids are in this big family . And if you don’t have a kid, and you think kids are annoying and noisy, may be you can move out to other places without a lovely daycare around.

This Daycare should not even be rated 1 starIf you’re looking for a sign to take this daycare off your list, this is it. The staff are extremely mean to the kids and even the parents , always yelling and screaming for small mistakes all children make and grabbing roughly. The staff who seem overwhelmed with their duties (rightfully so). Badly run and it’s obvious, I wouldn’t leave my kid here for an hour. They’re nice to your face but it’s a completely different story when you leave.And the funny thing most of the reviews from the staff and the owner family.The teachers and the people there have bad attitude, ill-mannered, rowdy, and impatient towards toddlers. Very disrespectful towards guardians. I truly feel humiliated in this place. Never Bring Your Child
