Stopped here in this small town to get some ice cream! loved the vibe of this place. Its just located few kms off the highway in kemptville. They have a small food take out and ice cream along with a patio setting. The prices were super cheap and the taste was great. just 5$ for a beef burger which tasted heavenly! Too many flavours of ice cream & sundae available! Must visit .. great small town setting!

I was referred to the dairy barn/ western grill by a friend in keptville. She told me about their keto poutine and many other keto options. Being a few months into keto we decided to make the trek from carleton place to kemptville to check it out. It did not dissapoint!! Everything we ordered was incredible. We couldnt believe our taste buds. The service was outstanding aswell. LOVE this keto takeout! Will reccomend and return, great job guys!!

Meh. A friend and I ordered a milkshake and cone. Cone was served after 5 minutes. Watched other orders placed after us served first but still no milkshake. Finally ready 15 minutes after ordering. Someone tell the teenage staff how to sequence orders properly. My friend finished their cone long before my milkshake was started

Read about this place online and it had pretty decent reviews. It was a 20 min trip to get there so I really wanted it to be good. I ordered a Foot long hotdog which came in a wrap, because the place is also keto. The wrap was grilled nicely and was tasty. Thats where the good ended. First off, there is no way this was a foot long hotdog and they should not call it that. The hotdog itself was cold and I was not sure if it was even cooked. The mustard poured out like soup if you tilted the wrap. I took. few bites and threw the rest away , it was that bad. I did not complain because if a place has this low standards, there is no point.

Food greasy, paper overly greasy, turnip fries cold and not seasoned. The oily turnip fries tasted like the oil was old. The wait was too long. Not acceptable. Too costly for such a greasy meal! Never again!

We were camping over at Rideau River PP and saw this on the map and had to try it. Definitely seems to be a local favourite with a good amount of outdoor covered seating (picnic tables) with lots of free sanitary wipes in dispensers that look like ice cream cones. We came twice and tried their brownie chunk sundae and the banana split. Definitely recommend both - though they’re pretty generous so they’re a good size to share!
