Nord Alta Construction

We first met with Robert and Michael in January to discuss our vision for our 1970’s, 1040 square foot built home. After meeting a few times and going over design ideas and budget we signed our trust over to them for a structural wall removal, full kitchen renovation and new flooring through the entire upper floor. We are so glad we did. We really are astonished and couldn’t be happier with the transformation. We still can’t believe this is our home, it turned out better than we could have imagined, absolutely beautiful!!! Even friends and family can’t believe what a transformation this renovation made to our home.We were notified what trades people and when they would be in our home working on their part of the project. All trades people that came into our home were professional, respectful and cleaned up after themselves. The only issue we really had through this whole project was with the electricians. Robert and Michael were quick to get it rectified and all was perfect at the end of the project. If you have never been through a renovation before with a contractor, this is where you have that ahhh moment you don’t have to deal with anyone but your contractor which Robert and Michael handled both quickly and professionally.We do have future projects we would like to get done and wouldn’t hesitate for second to hire Nord Alta again for our next renovation projects. The work done was definitely quality and built to last. As stated on their website at the end of the project it was hugs all around LOL. These guys were great to work with!!!

We recently utilized Nord Alta to renovate our bathroom Robert and Michael where extremely helpful in helping us get the most out of the limited space. I’m very appreciative of their consideration to our needs and their ability to expedite the renovation. The entire family is extremely happy with the results. Michael was very helpful in keeping us informed on what was completed during each day and what was scheduled to happen the next day. Everyone was very professional and respectful of our home and family. I look forward to utilizing Nord Alta during our next project and highly recommend them.

Michael was such a pleasure to work with and he and his contractors did such an amazing, professional and timely job on renovating our shower. Nord Alta recently completed our kitchen Reno, they took our kitchen from the late 70’s into the a sleek, updated 2017 version that has now made it a place we love to hang out in. Robert and Michael walked us threw every step of the Reno, keeping us informed of who and what was going on in our house. The crews that moved seamlessly thru our home were polite, respectful and cleaned up everyday to the point you almost did not know there was work being done. I’ve known Robert and Michael Breault at Nord Alta Construction for the last two years as I've helped them showcase their business online. While helping them through this process I've gotten to know them and may of their projects very well. The most important and impressive thing that I learned about them in the 2 years is that there is no one more important to them then their renovation clients. It shows in their work, in the feedback I've heard from past and present customers. They are very committed to developing processes to provide great results for their customers...everything from developing a construction schedule to cleaning the site at the end of the day.I think the photos that they showcase speak for themselves as to the quality of the work done.

I recommend NordAlta to anyone looking at doing renovations in their home. Michael listened carefully to what we described as the general plan for our kitchen and bathroom. He asked questions throughout, so we knew he was paying attention and getting in sync with what we wanted. He made many helpful suggestions and recommendations, including pointing out some limitations we should be aware of, and items we could consider saving some money on or paying a bit more, depending on our budget. We also had some specific concerns regarding how the work would move forward and its effect on one member of our household. Michael was very accommodating and understanding.Throughout the process, Michael was available through phone or text, and was always arriving with the sub-contractors on their first day in our home to make sure they knew what was expected. He kept us up to date on progress and helped us understand how things were progressing.

This is a review and my opinion. I will not hire Nord Alta Construction to work on my home in the future. I felt bullied in my own home.I feel the only positive from this situation is that the individuals that Nord Alta sub contracted were great and did good work. Unfortunately, I feel as though the dealings with Nord Alta as the job progressed and the drywall/finishing work done by Nord Alta overshadow the good jobs done by the sub contractors.

I was a subtrade for Nord Alta. I would caution anyone considering to do work for these guys to run. My experience with the owner Micheal has been absolutely horrible. I have been insulted personally suggesting I was stupid and was also stolen from. Did not pay the bill and lied on video saying they would. Also tried to create unreasonable backcharges to steal from me. If you're trying to build your life and are honest I would advise finding other people to grow with.

We as recently as last week had renovations completed in our home. Nord Alta came in, listened to our needs. And quickly turned our ideas into reality. We wanted to make our home wheelchair accessible every level. Nord Alta succeeded in achieving this task 1000%. They understood what we wanted to do. The workers were punctual, courteous, and extremely professional. I would not hesitate one second to call Nord Alta again if we needed additional work done.
