Worst place ever, do your taxes here and all good they take your money and do a good job but when you need information and what not their never open. You can call 3 days in a row and nobody answers the phone, you send a message on Facebook to their page and their closed, what kind of business is always closed? Like give me a break

Melissa is very rude & not good at returning messages. I think she's gotten too big for her britches. Also whoever she handed my taxes off to didn't know what they were doing as on more than 1 occasion when they did my taxes I got re-accessed by CRA & they came to a completely different conclusion than horseshoe tax. Incompetence at its finest.

Yes unfortunately I do know from working there that she is not as professional as she indicates. Files are left in the open and not secured when not working on. Files are piled everywhere and still are since I left many years ago. Turnaround time is rarely as promised and then she complains about her clients to the staff. In the summer of 2022 a good friend of mine had her file lost and her documents misplaced in the office?!?!

I called Horseshoe to enquire about a missing document. I was transferred to an older lady who was very rude, she told me that I would need to pay $10 for the missing document even tho I wasn't given it in the first place. I was then told that they are busy so she doesn't have time for this and as I began to speak she hung up the phone.

Horseshoe taxes are thee very best at what they do will get you back every Nickle they can at a very reasonable rate you cannot go wrong they are very friendly smart fast and just very reliable tax service around we have been with them for years because I toke are taxes too someone else after buying are first house they screwed are taxes really bad so we toke it too horseshoes taxes they looked it over redid are taxes and got alot back instead of having too pay out over $4,000 at first after taking it horseshoe taxes she fixed everything and because we already paid thee other tax place that screwd are up horseshoe did it for free if this does not tell you how good these people there awesome and I want too say thank them for everything they do we have been with them for like 18 years.

Very unprofessional service. Before I submitted, I asked for a lead time, I was informed it would be a few days, so I decided to use the service instead of going elsewhere as they had a 3 week lead time. After 2 weeks, I called to inquire on the status of my taxes. The lady that answered, said she would call me and hung up.After 6 weeks passed, I tried calling again. I was not able to get through for 3 weeks. At week 9, I called again and was told that they will call me when they are done. I explained that I had waiting and was wondering if I can get an ETA. I was then told, they can be done tomorrow or you can pick them up and take them elsewhere". I replied that tomorrow would be fine as it is 2 weeks before the deadline now. 2 weeks after that (so now week 11 and the day before taxes are due)

Melissa has always gone above and beyond for me and my family, we've been getting our taxes done by her for over 10 years! Thank you Melissa!Seeing all these comments from the past few weeks has really disturbed me , this is not the time to attack a small business! Yes it took longer this year to get our taxes done, but the entire world is in a pandemic, everything is taking longer! We waited 6 months for our couch to be delivered and were originally promised a month. I'd rather wait a few extra weeks, or days, to have my taxes done correctly and satisfactory, than rushed and have mistakes made or things missed!

I have been coming to HorseShoe tax for over 5 years now and I have NEVER had an issue. From what I do know about Melissa, her staff and business is that during tax time is an INSANELY busy time. I applaud Melissa and her staff for keeping such a professional atmosphere and office. Every time I have come into the office I am greeted with nothing but smiles and friendly greetings. I am here reading some of the reviews some people have posted and wonder if any of them have a job/career and have ever been faced with days so long and busy that they find themselves completely exhausted at the end of the day from working so hard to keep clients or bosses happy? I am wondering to myself why it is that people are complaining at the time it takes to do a tax return in the middle of tax time when thousands of people across Ontario are filing income tax all at the same general time and wanting it back within a day or two. Anytime I have ever called Melissa or her office the staff has been very pleasant and gotten back to me with any answers within a day or two. Regardless of some of these negative reviews I have to say keep up the good work ladies I myself and PLENTY of your other clients love you and think your doing a fantastic job as always!

I have had nothing but excellent service in the last 4-5 years of being a client. Melissa is extremely attentive to detail, and will be very thorough. You will not find better service anywhere else!

The only professional service I trust regarding taxes and finances. All the staff are super helpful, efficient and friendly. I've been using this service for years and I gladly recommend to anyone!
