No coffee for second night was pushed out onto the street of salmon even when offering to pay another night. Owner said motel was booked for extra night even though the place was emptyDon't stay here if your black or aboriginal

Clean and cozy. Stayed in room 2. Nothing too special, but a great place to put your head after a long drive. The building is old and definitely has some character. New owners this year and I hope they do well. Will definitely be back.

The owners are the nicest, kindest people. The rooms were very clean, and they have different themes that were fun and creative. The beds were very comfortable, and doing the bed-big check, found the cleanliness even reached in the small nooks, which is impressive. Had a small kitchenette with a microwave and mini fridge. Beautiful town!

Wounderful, cozy motel. Really nice retro motel, recently renovated. The motel is well maintained and has a homey feeling. Room was comfortable, very clean and all needs thought of. Bed was comfortable and clean. Shower was very small but the bathroom was nice. They are accepting well behaved dogs for a $10 fee.

Wonderful and friendly hosts that went above and beyond with our needs.Gave us recommendations for events going on in the town.Rooms were perfect for a couple, might be a bit squishy for a family of 4 but we were 3 people and made it work.Would definitely go back.

Loved the decor of the room, how cozy and clean the space was, and the cute vintage bathtub in the washroom. We travelled with two small children and there was more than enough space for our family of four. The beds were super comfortable, and staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will def be returning in the future. Thanks Brian and Robyn for your hospitality.

I put these people through a lot, from a cancelled reservation to numerous queries about my new reservation. I might have ghosted me, but, oh no, the Reno kept up a friendly front and humoured me all the way.And the room is great. Full of the fifties charm I crave. Very clean.

**SPARKLING CLEAN** Travelling Hwy 3 into Alberta and decided to stop for the night in Castlegar. Our choices were bleak.A bit more searching on google maps brought up the Reno Motel in Salmo showed great reviews.A short drive down the road landed us at this quaint gem.We checked into the Moroccan room (#2).Upon entering we found a spotless retro motel room. Clean, fresh linen and a quiet setting.This is a hidden gem.
