Beautifully done and very good tour guide - was disappointed that there weren't any postcards available at all, though. The camping was very good for the price, and it will be excellent when the trees grow up! No idea what event was on during June 28, but many of the trucks leaving stopped halfway out the exit to stop and spin their tires and roar out = please put out some speedbumps.

Shared space with TBSO May 5th for National MMIWG2S Awareness Day for event. Venue was spectacular. Little out of the way & not easily access by transit. All in all though a Great Experience & Park

Great experience and a very beautiful recreated fort!!! Will definetly go back BUT BRING BUG SPRAY.... The mosquito situation was very similar to the indigenous people outside the fort.... IN TENTS (intense) can't wait to come back up here though!!! And yes they were actually in Wigwams...

I have been here twice now with my kids and wife. The first time was on Canada day last year, which was a lot of fun and had loads of extra activities and cast members" if you will

I'm so happy that this is still available for families to attend! It was entertaining and educational, and we got a lot of steps in! Quite easily the best Canada Day that we have had as a family- and it wasn't expensive. Before I go into details, I want to mention that this is THE PERFECT place to visit for people who get overwhelmed with crowds, noises, or smells. Our girls learned a lot. The workers did a fantastic job at staying in character and provided a wide variety of facts. They had historically accurate answers for everything that they were asked and were super approachable and patient. We were surprised at how good and fairly priced the food was.The views were incredible! The memories are priceless ❤️

VERY cool place. I expected just a guided tour, but it was better! You walk through the fort stopping by each building and people are in period talking to you like you're in period too! Very fun and learned a lot. Warning: Lots of biting bugs so bring bug spray!

What a great experience, from the cleanliness of the park and their facilities, to the professionalism of the staff, it was an all around great experience exploring the history that begat a country. Give yourself a day to explore this place and visit with everyone you encounter. The folks within the park truly embrace their role as interpreters of history and are thoroughly knowledgeable about their character and role in history. Great place for family or adults alone, don't miss the canoe paddle, what a fun time!

It was a great pleasure to be part of the 50 years celebration. We did enjoyed a lot by seeing all the historical activities over the very ancient period. The front entrance that was showing on the Google map was not the actual one now. They changed it and made it through the main road earlier than the previous one. Just keep it in your mind when you visit here.

Probably one of the highlights of our trip through Ontario. Incredible interpretative center, the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, you couldn't stump them with any questions. Bring mosquito spray though. Absolutely a must of you're near Thunder Bay, make sure you have at least six or more hours, it's worth it.
