We absolutely loved the fish & chips here, along with a divine sticky toffee pudding. Exceptional food and wonderful ambience, a must stop if you’re in Chester village. Be sure to take a short stroll to the waterfront, near the yacht club.

We were greeted at the door, the lady was very nice.The service was great.I had the seafood chowder and it was delicious. Best seafood chowder I've had in a restaurant in a while. I would definitely go back for the seafood chowder.The house dark beer was also very good.I'm very happy to live so close to it and will definitely go back.

We are here after enjoying the Nordic spa and it far exceeded expectations. Absolutely phenomenal burgers and the staff was so nice!!! The dining room was such a great environment as well, fresh flowers on the table even in the winter. I highly recommend!!!

Loved it! Just had some Nachos and a pint of their beer. Nice place, nice food, super welcoming and nice staff. The waiter was really cute to be honest ! Just go there, you won't regret it!

I have been wanting to dine here and finally the timing was just right. The Manager and our server couldn't have been any nicer. The food is exemplary. One of the best spinach salads; it wasn't over dressed. Fresh cut french fries not frozen, thank God. The roast beef dip was superb and the jus was not salty. I highly recommend this restaurant. Service was also fantastic.

Stopped here for lunch in May 2022. The staff were very friendly, fun, and informative (about other things we could do while we were in the area). There were so many interior decor details that gave it a lot of charm.The food was great. The seafood chowder. Yum. The apple crisp was really good too. And they played a lot of Eagles songs in the background which is always great for setting a fun and chill mood.

Absolutely adore this pub! The food is amazing, homemade, fresh ingredients, and loving care. It's evident in the flavours.This was a chicken and mushroom soup! Generous portions, hearty, one garlic toast finger included but we asked for extra bc they were delicious, and everything was the perfect temperature when it arrived.The servers are also very lovely. Definitely looking forward to many meals here!!

While making a dinner reservation for 6, our call was dropped and the manager called us back! Had pre-dinner drinks at the cool old bar than a great dinner. Our friends got lobster rolls, 3rd one on the trip, and said this was the best. Went back for a late lunch the following day and tried it. Fantastic, lobster falling out of the bun. Got the seafood stew as well, really enjoyed that too.

We were so pleased to have found this gem of a pub in Chester. On our visit and walking around the waterfront saw this and after learning it was the oldest pub in Nova Scotia we had to check it out! The layout is amazing great views, a very vegan/vegetarian friendly menu! We were please with both our dishes and loved the ambiance! 10/10 would come back because of the history and great experience!
