Big Sky Self Storage

Attention, to anyone who might be considering using their storage facilities, you might want to re-think that. I had contacted big sky a few days ago to inquire about a few units they had listed on their website and spoke to a lady that had mentioned they had a waiting list for a few upcoming units. We got into further conversation about what my storage needs were and had mentioned I needed a unit to store a few items I use for my business. She told me abruptly upfront they do not allow any business in the yard. That was completely fine as I was only looking to store items and it would only be myself that would come to the yard when I needed the items. She proceeded to say that their gate sticks when it gets very cold out so you won't be able to get access to your unit if you need to??? (Not sure why they are a storage space if they can't get an adequate gate.) Anyways I told her that would be fine i guess as I could probably work around it. She then told me she would contact me to let me know if she would have one available after going through her waiting list (ok no problem.) Fast forward a few days later and I get a text stating that they are not able to accommodate my storage needs and recommended someone else. I wanted more clarification (was it that they just never had any units available or that they just don't want my business?) Turns out, they cant accommodate businesses (even though their website states they have commercial storage.) After the conversations i have had with big sky, they are the most unprofessional business i have conversed with. I was automatically discriminated against on the basis that they assumed I'd be conducting a business off of their property??? To be honest I'm actually happy that this happened before renting a unit as I was looking for long term storage and was thinking of paying by the year. Honestly if you are thinking of using them, maybe give it some thought, they might not discriminate against you depending if your a business or not but do know, there is a possibility you may not get access to your unit if you really need to. Anyways just putting a review based on what I have experienced with them and will let others know that I highly do not recommend them!!!
