We had a lovely lunch at Tailwinds to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Service was good as well as our meals.My only complaint is that our server did not tell us that the tip was already included. So when I got the debit machine i automatically allowed it to add another 20%. Now I have paid an extra 20 % on top of the first tip. I guess my fault for not looking at the bill closely but I feel we should have been told. I did contact Tailwind’s by email and commented on their Instagram to please check their email.Our server lucked out today and got a double tip on two of the bills. To date I have not received a response and for that reason I will not return.

Wow. This is a first!Being picked up at the dock, flown over land and lakes, touching down in water, then driving up a ramp (amphibious wheel floats) to a parking spot a few feet away from this magnificent spot designed for the aviator clients was truly a unique and wonderful experienceFabulous dining location with appealing and tasteful decor for the aviation enthusiasts.Great food and service which is normally the top rank markers, was the bonus in this case.Thank you GSN and Tailwinds!!!

Was a nice spot to go. I loves the fact that you could sit and watch the planes coming in and landing on the water. The food was excellent. It was super busy when we got there and had to wait more that usual, but worth it taking in the view and lovely day. I would recommend making a reservation. Well worth going to this gem of a place.

The patio experience was fabulous! Beautiful gardens. Watching the planes take off and land on the lake was fun. Food was delicious! I had the Tailwinds club and my friend had the duck wings.

My husband and I had dinner at Tailwinds, Orillia today. The ambience was perfect! We ate on the patio overlooking a lovely green space with gardens heading down to the lake. We watched the float planes and airplanes coming in and taking off. Our dinners were delicious...tender baby back ribs that fell off the bone with yummy sauce and excellent sweet potato fries, and fish and chips. Everything was cooked and seasoned well. Our server, Shea, was delightful and very accommodating! We have already told others about our great experience and we will go back! Thanks Shea for a great experience!

after the casino fiasco, this place was found by my phone's Google, and let me tell you super awesome place take your wife or girlfriend and play the plane pilot card, and tell her this restaurant is for old-school flying boys, she'll love even more. nhaa I'm just kidding, but seriously you and companion will have a super fun and good food time and you can also book a 30min tour flight on the spot. come on wing man is your time to shine.

Clean with nice ambiance and atmosphere and not overly loud so you can have relaxing conversations. They also have nice covered outdoor patio seatings for the nicer days, but they're very popular and usually full if you come during lunch rush. You'd have more luck with inside seatings if you don't want to wait.Price is fair for the portion that you get. They have good selections of food and drinks that would satisfy wide array of taste buds.

Tailwinds Bar & Grill
We love coming here especially in the summer as their patio is so beautiful. You can watch float planes land and take off right from your table. The food is awesome and the service from Megan was excellent! I had the fish and chips and my husband had the ribs. Both meals were ho, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place any time of year.
