I didn't want to take my sandals off in this room. The curtains hadn't been washed in 20 years, at least. The tub was clean and the sink was clean. I had to use my own bedding on the bed and double stack it before it was comfortable. Didn't even consider sitting on the couch". I only stayed there one of three nights I booked it for

Bad customer service. Rude owner, would not give extra towels and pillows when needed. Also would not offer a refund when wanting to leave a night early. Not a comfortable bed. I don’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Raccoon Lodge Motel
I had a good stay the past couple of nights at Raccoon Lodge. We have stayed here before, but never with a dog. It was a great location, they had great customer service by all three of the staff I interacted with. They also were able to accommodate us last minute. I will definitely be back again! Thanks for the stay :D

Our room was just okay, only downside was we had a broken bed side lamp that didn't work. Otherwise we had great service where the owner was more than happy to lend us an extra comforter and two pillows. Overall clean and nice that our room had a stove top. Paid just $70 for a fairly good sleep, and 5 min walk to the beach.

Judging by these owners. They can't seem to take responsibility for anything they've done. Its always an excuse or them putting the blame on their customers? If you want people to stay and have a good experience and to keep coming back then be good owners and do your part. Its disgusting how you're talking and treating your guests. Learn some respect.

The owner called me a thief when he couldn’t find one of the nasty hand towels that were in the bathroom. Accused us of being thieves because we had a cash deposit. He said people like me who pay cash are always stealing stuff. We had to pay an extra $20 for this hand towel then he refused to provide a receipt,!! I would recommend against staying here. The carpet was very dirty as well. Absolutely disgusting

Disgusting hotel. They obviously only care about money and have zero pride in ownership. The carpet is filthy, broken appliances simply TAPED shut. Owners were incredibly rude too. My friend popped in to say hi and within ten minutes they called a tow truck. One of them showed up at 11 to demand we get out or pay more. It was an absolutely SHOCKING experience. Good location but not worth the gross uncomfortable bed and bad vibes.

The place is nice, price wise it is affordable.View from the third floor is fantastic, you can see the lake , and of course if the road is not that busy , you can sit outside .The room is ok, I believe they repainted the walls.Nevertheless the bed sheets and bed covers are still too old. I could not recognize the color of the blanket, as it was really faded.Carpets need a good clean , or even a change. The spots on the carpets are so visible.Air conditioning is working , not that much effective though . But there is an additional fan .Employees are ok, they are just fine.

The cleaning staff care; the ownership do not. Our room was cleaned well. The physical condition of the room and property, however, is terrible. Room numbers scotch taped to doors. Tiles lifting off the floor. AC that does not cool the space. A beach towel used as an area rug to cover damage to the carpet. The location is great. The hotel is not. The staff are solid.
