Harbour Lights Inn

I almost don't want to give this place a great review to keep it a secret! The cabins on the water were spectacular, clean and had everything you needed. Free breakfast at Annies next door was delicious. The only shame was that it was raining the night we were there so we were not able to take advantage of the firepit on the dock! Lovely place!

Right beside the twillingate boat tour, the hospitality of the host is wonderful, we had a great talk. Room wise I had a 2 twin and it was way better than some of the motels out there. Clean, tidy, body wash and shampoos as well as soaps are provided, pillows in different stiffness is what I wasn't expecting, pretty comfy. For those who never been here it's a wonderful stay to start with, but floors are a bit squeaky like they always are around here. If anything I'd come back for another stay!

Great room and friendly staff. Despite the age of the building everything has been done up very nicely. The historical character of the building has not been lost yet the room didn't lack any modern amenities.

I was one of a party of 4 with a reservation for July 30/22. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel on very short notice. Manager was understanding and did not charge us, which we all appreciated. Hopefully we can visit another time.

Well located but this means it’s next to the main road and cars passing by non stop . Windows open means you hear that . But we were very tired and the bed was comfy !!

First off, I was greeted at the door by the very friendly inn keeper, who told me her name but I can't remember it. She got me to check out the room before committing, all that was left was twin rooms but that was my fault for not planning ahead. It was very clean and cozy with some modern amenities, like a flat screen TV, and a nice shower, and all the hair appliances one would need. The beds are comfortable with nice fresh linens. I slept for 10 hours straight. I wandered down for my complimentary breakfast which included fresh baked muffins from scratch, yogurt and fresh fruit, cereals, bread stuffs, as well as eggs to order. The coffee was great, not as strong as I make at home because I like really strong coffee. I would come back here again and again. Oh also I have a really nice view of the harbour. For the price, this is very good value.

The rooms were very small. I hit my head getting out of bed because of a sloped ceiling and I am short!In the morning they had the coffee pot ready to go so we just hit the brew button but there were several guests at the hotel and once the 1st pot was finished they did not leave any water to make another pot! They left coffee but not water and we had no access to the kitchen. The manager didn’t show up until 9 am so many guests had to wait for their morning coffee.The toilet paper was like tissue paper! The local restaurant had better toilet paper than the Inn. Really is this how you want to pare expenses?It is a lovely location and close to everything and the staff were all friendly so just need to tweak a few things.

Great location, very clean and quiet rooms. Each room has its own charm and layout.Would definitely stay again on a future trip!

Our 1st road trip since Covid-19 restrictions were 1st enforced. Wonderfully happy to have picked a great place to stay. Reasonable price with excellent service from the owners, Chris and Allison made our stay memorable. The location is perfect for touring the area and our room had a great view of the harbour.Highly recommend checking out their restaurant Annie's for breakfast, lunch or supper. As well as their Twillingate Adventure Tours, can't say enough good about this experience. Back in a couple weeks and will be staying here for sure.
