Jim McClement R&R Auto is the best mechanic in the Ottawa Valley and runs a large garage on Mask Road.I know that there is nothing on the road that Jim or his team cannot fix, cars, trucks, tractor''s , machinery and more .He does sell used vehicles and guarantees what he sells. He also sell's used tires.There are a lot excellent mechanics in the Killaloe area. They do not offer what Jim does.Jim does towing and is often the first responder on the road. Jim may be contacting the police, fire and ambulance.So while you wait for Jim think about this? If your child, husband, wife, relative, friend, or was hurt on road. What would you do. Complain about tires? Complain about waiting when you do not have appointment?I am not a friend of Jim McClement but I have known him for years and have lot of respect for him.My late father Raymond Harrington was a mechanic, worked on vehicles, trucks, snowmobiles, grass cutting machines, transport trucks, large Dairy trucks, worked for the Department of Agriculture, Experimental Farm, and Animal Research on all their farm machinery.My father has said Jim McClement: is kind, generous, helpful, he would give his shirt of his back to help someone.Jim knows mechanics, vehicles, tractors etc. Jim McClement's big problem is he too kind.Jim McClement has worked on my vehicle. Nothing short of perfectionIf you are not happy , have your vehicle towed to Pembroke, Toronto or Ottawa.Pembroke you will wait longer and mostly like have to rent a motelOttawa you are looking at 4 to 7 daysToronto I do not know their wait timeCall CAA or your Auto Club., see how long it will take before you get a tow!Golden Sands Resorts. They book two years in advance. and so do most accommodationYou can call around ,while you wait, in the rain, snow and in the cold.Selfish you are, Me only you are. Awesome service! Friendly, honest and kind....I had an unfortunate encounter with a tree when visiting my brothers cottage. This happened at 4:40pm on the Friday of a long weekend. When I called around, most businesses were unhelpful. However, Jim offered to see me the very next day, even though he was not supposed to be in the shop. No only did he take the time to ensure we could safely make it home, he was kind and friendly and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend him if you ever need a mechanic while staying near Barry's Bay and Round Lake.

On the 10th of this month my car was picked up and scrapped by this company, mind you I didn’t call to have it picked up. My roommate and her boyfriend did, while I was outta town for a few days. The last time I physically seen the car was the 8th of this month. They didn’t have the ownership and the car had been reported stolen yet the company still agreed to take it without proof of ownership as long as they promised to bring the ownership into the wreckers as soon as possible. While they had the car in their possession they removed the headers, battery, catalytic converter, starter, ignition and muffler before having proof of ownership. The owner is saying that the car was towed at the beginning of January yet I have proof the car was mine and drivable in February. So I just thought I’d make everyone Aware that the owner is crooked and will except stolen vehicles.

I was up in cottage country on the Friday before a long weekend when my exhaust pipe suddenly snapped. Even though I showed up unannounced, Jim was able to fit me into his schedule, and he completed the repair in under two hours so I could get back on the road. He was professional, accommodating, communicated well, and charged a very fair price. Highly recommend his services!

I was on Vacation and had some car troubles that led to also having a bad tire. I arrived here to see if they had a used tire . They looked for a tire and came back and said sorry we dont have anything used to fit or match the size of the other tires on my car . So I was told that they could order me two tires but they had to put the order in at that moment or I wouldn't have tires that day also being that it's also Friday .So I said to order them before the cut off because I was driving 5hrs to home the next morning.So this was 11AM Friday and was told my tires will be there around 3-4pm that day. So I drove off 20min back to a cottage that I was staying at. Then came back at 3pm was told my tires were not there yet. 10 to 4 the sales guy comes and tells me that the truck that is delivering my tires has broken down and will not be able to make it today. The sales guy then says to me to wait a few minutes and he'll see if he can do anything. At 4:15 he comes to tell me that they have a set of 3 used matching all season tires that are the right size, I said I only need one so they asked me to drive my car in and they would get the one tire replaced. SO MY QUESTION IS WHERE DID YOU FIND THE TIRES WHEN YOU COULDN'T SELL ME THE NEW ONES THAT WERE ON THE TRUCK THAT BROKE DOWN. I think that they just wanted to sell me two new tires

My daughter had an accident other side of Golden lake jim was there in no time checking to see if both were ok the police just gave police report over phone and never showed up after Jim explained that there were no injuries and towed them to his shop on mast rd he made sure they were warm in shop until a driver came to bring them home after midnight.Thanks Jim for taking care of my family

Jim and his team are awesome! We were on vacation and had an issue with our car. We called and he kindly agreed to look at it (that day!!). They got us sorted out in a matter of minutes. The rest of our vacation was worry free, thanks to Dylan and Jim!! Thanks again guys.
