Last Port Motel
Being the last and only motel around here I'm quite happy. I stayed here for work for over a month and had no issues at all. There is a nice size refrigerator, a microwave and a Keurig machine. The bathroom is a descent size and the shower had good pressure. The beds were descent and the service was top notch. Yes I've stayed at better motels but this is not a bad place. It could be alot worst so if anyone ever comes up Canso way I would definitely recommend this motel.

I loved The Last Port, it has a beautiful atmosphere and the staff are incredibly friendly. Tammy was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and local attractions. The restaurant was delicious and everything was well priced would definitely come again!!

Last Port Motel
Should be the Last Resort Motel bad wifi TV was very snowy couldn't even watch it. Heater wasn't the greatest bed was hard as a rock would never stay here again. As far as the food in restaurant goes 4 out of 5 stars.

Foods good, done quickly, the staff are always nice, and they provide a service here, that I am Thankful our small area has. Edit: was here again and they had a new waitress. She's a bit of a scatterbrain but very friendly. Food was great, and service was prompt.

Last Port Motel
The Last Port was a shining beacon that guided me and my fellow travellers into a fun and affordable safe haven. My father, brother, and I had planned a visit to Guysborough County to get out of the city. We booked two rooms at the Last Port and were given helpful directions on how to get there by the easy-going but nevertheless diligent employees. The Last Port served as a perfect base of operations for our day trips and place to return to rest. The grounds were well-maintained and featured a lot of interesting details that drew us out of our room. The rooms were very clean, with lots of pillows and bedding, and lots of attention to decor and furniture choices, which made us feel like captains on our own ship. At night, we were able to enjoy cold beers that we stored in the mini-fridge, play cards on the desk provided, and use the Smart TV in our room to log into our favourite streaming sites. In the August morning, I was able to walk around and spot hummingbirds, sparrows, Cedar Waxwings, and Hermit Thrushes in the immediate area. We also enjoyed the restaurant A LOT and really enjoyed getting to know Tam and the gang even more. The Last Port helped us to enjoy the surrounding area as much as possible. This certainly won't be the last time that we book a room there.

So happy the could squeeze me in super last minute. I contacted them today for tonight. The rooms are good, good price and the food from the resturant is excellent and well priced. I am so far very happy with my stay here. I highly recommend staying here if You need a place to stay.

If I could give zero stars I would. Stayed here for work. There was no microwave in any of our rooms. The heat in my room would not adjust. The wall outlets did not work making it impossible to charge my phone which is my alarm clock. And to top it all off the blanket had a Bloodstain!!!.I've stayed in lots of cheap motels but this I'd by far the worst motel I've ever encountered. I guess they can get away with these standards bring the only place in the middle of nowhere.

It rooms were ok. A bit outdated. Breakfast was good. The people in the room next to me partied until 6am. The owner did talk to them at 3am but they didn't stop. So no sleep.

Not my first stay here.The service is decent and they try to be accommodating. I needed utensils, left a note and they were there that night.The bar fridge and coffee machine work.There is often no microwave in the rooms.The Wi-Fi is spotty at times though it did work my second time here.All the rooms have been clean. They are carpeted.The beds are very firm.The gasket on all the toilets so far seem old. Sort of a gamble if your toilet will keep running all night or will actually fill.Water pressure can disappear in an instant. Plug the bathtub when showing so you retain water to rinse in case the shower cuts out when you are full of soap.

Man I know this is the only game in town, but come on. None of the lamps, or the fridge were plugged in, the heat in the room was virtually non-existent.The office was closed during checkout hours as well, which is strange to me. I'd love to give it a better review, but I can't.
