I went at noon, which is an hour after their opening time, and tried to order the brown sugar pearl fresh milk. The lady told me there weren't any pearls for 20 minutes as she came in late. She said I could replace it with another item, so I chose grass jelly. I didn't realize it then, but after getting home, I realized she charged me for the grass jelly when the pearls would have been included and she told me I can replace pearls with something else...Drink was just okay. It's pretty hard to mess up fresh milk and brown sugar. Grass jelly was the canned stuff. It's not worth almost $9

Macao Imperial Tea had just opened up on Edmonds St.and I was itching to try it, so I brought my daughter with me to go check it out. Upon entering the shop you are met with two gigantic teddy bears sitting on chairs. They seem to like their teddy bears in this shop because two of the drinks on their menu are served in reusable glass bottles with lids that are shaped like teddy bear ears. One of these drinks is called “For Me” and the other drink is called “For You”. My daughter decided to try the “For Me” while I chose the Black Sugar Taho Milk Tea for myself.For Me: It turned out to be a coffee drink. Think of it as a cold, sweet latte. My girl loved it and so did her daddy when he came home. Since the For Me" drink comes in one of those reusable glass teddy bear bottles

Tried the Halo Halo drink and it was good. Quite liked the jellies that were mild in flavour but quite nice in texture and pretty in colour. Good assortment of things in the halo halo like pearls, red bean, sago, flan/pudding etc. However, it took like 15-20 minutes to make one drink! Didn’t think it would take that long and for the taste, almost $10.00 a drink is a bit steep cuz after tip it was over $11 dollars.

I love this place, the bubble tea and almost every drink is so good!!.The staff are very friendly and nice as well, they make fresh customizable drinks and work pretty fast.

The prices on the counter and the tv screen are out of date and needs to be changed immediately. I was expecting a $6.99 drink, but was charged $7.49 without knowing. Also, one of the servers forgot to add the pearls to my drink.The drink was ok, but service and professionalism needs to improve

I have tried so many bubble tea places and this place is one of the best by far. The atmosphere is great and it's not very busy. I am always a fan of brown sugar milk teas. I have tried their cheesecake variety and it was good as well.

Macao Imperial Tea Burnaby is a bubble tea shop worth a visit when you are in Burnaby. I visited here and was impressed with their amazing bubble and milk teas. In addition, the restaurant also has a spacious and comfortable space to sit back and relax. The space is beautifully decorated. In short, if you are looking for a milk tea shop with fresh pearls and a comfortable atmosphere, Macao Imperial Tea Burnaby is a great place to visit. I will definitely come back here in the future.
