James was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Had to order a horn for my boat and he got for me very quickly. You can buy online but his pricing is comparable when you put in exchange rates and delivery fees and the service and his knowledge more than makes up for this. Highly recommended.

Being a father of three, I recently refinished a seaflea (GlenL Marin Design) boat that I had made when I was a kid, for my kids. From resin advice to glassing, to marine paints (Interlux) and antifouling paints, they have everything in stock and offer GREAT advice. On one occasion I had an aged fiberglass kit that had solidified and he took it back no questions asked. This is such a great shop for boaters, refinishers, and boat-builders. Really like this guy. 5 stars the whole way.

Owner is very rude and very unhelpful! Went in for bottom paint and felt like I was intruding. This guy has been gruff since I’ve been going there. No more! Didn’t have a very popular bottom paint, obviously not prepared for customers. I went to Foug Boat Supplies in Port Credit who had what i needed for less cost. Very cheerful staff and much more stock and variety than Dockside! Stay away from this grumpy man!! Not worth the time.I will never go back. Like the previous gentleman said, how he stays in business it a miracle!

James, the owner is knowledgeable and very helpful in finding what we need. If the parts are not in stock, he orders them as soon as possible. The store has easy access, convenient business hours and parking in front. Reasonable prices.

Although we had some issues with the “free bird” sandwich what was impressive was the responsiveness and genuine appreciation for the feedback. The server and manager did everything right making the evening a positive experience. Highly recommend

The owner is a major a hole. Not sure how he stays in business. Just needed simple things, treated me like a nuisance. Go to Pices Marine just down the road instead. Prices are fair though.

So far, on my visits there, I have done comparison shopping with at least 3 other places selling marine goods ... this shop had the not so usual fittings, the usual stuff, and was selling at competative pricing. It was the ONLY place I was able to buy the antifouling I was after, and at the best price I could find, even online!! I will give it 5 stars if the shop gets the other item(s) I am after in the near future ....

I had a disagreement with James the owner and he went above and beyond to make it right. He stopped at nothing to make sure I was satisfied. I have never had anyone value my business this much so I will be a loyal customer for life. Thank you James for pulling out all the tools to get me on the water.

I have been to this place 3 times now . So I have given it or James the benefit of the dought . But after my last visit I am convinced that this man James is the most ignorant man I have ever meet. He really has no idea what customer service means. This guy should not be in business he has no idea how to operate one. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. Try boatmart in Mississauga, better pricing, better selection and no arrogant owner to put up with.cheersDave
