Apparently I visited the wrong store. I was scolded for being at the wrong store in front of other customers. I was told there could be a $10000 fine for shopping at the door. There was a lady who handed her paint can to a clerk and asked for the same paint but in black. She was not threatened with there could be a$10000 fine.So now that I have been introduced to Midland I will go the extra 2 minutes and shop at a far superior store.

Very knowledgeable friendly staff in every department. Down to earth humble associate's. Wayne in the paint department was amazing. He had my order ready for pick up. He went above and beyond to make sure my order was completed and completed properly!

I'm a regular here. Can't remember a bad shopping experience.It's got that small town feel with the quality you expect.Staff don't run when they see customers.10/10 recommend.

Store a little crowded and trying to find some things can be a challenge. Most things are priced comparable to other hardware stores in neighboring town so not really a need to travel out of town to get what you needStaff are knowledgable, courteous & eager to help.

One of my favorite stores. The staff here know there stuff, always have what i need in stock, always super friendly, we go just to browse! The selection of home products well beyond hardware! reasonable prices, it is a chain store, clearance room! Great for things i didn't know i needed. They once stayed open past close and saved my Christmas dinner ( blew a fuse ) not only did they wait for me to get there the had what i needed. I highly recommend this store even if it is out of your way. Make the trip to Penetanguishine. I am never disappointed when i shop here.

I love shopping at Home Hardware. Truly one of the last Canadian companies. The big orange box may be a few pennies cheaper, but their staff is mostly under trained and don't care about customer service. The staff at Home Hardware (at least here in Penetanguishene) all know their roles and are willing to help any time.From homehardware.ca - As a testament to Home Hardware's guiding ethic - that community and the common good is simply good business - the company remains a genuinely 100% Canadian

In my opinion it is exactly what a hardware store should be: a little bit crowded but with lots of interesting things, a very helpful and friendly staff and the charm that is missing in so many stores these days.Everything on my list was easy to find.Mask wearing, social distancing and hand sanitizing are practiced and part of their normal routine.
